And yet it has not aired on its official TV broadcast date (next Monday).

When you see the reactions to the Walking Dead or Game of Thrones discussions -same day- no less, and that it is expected that current discussions should be kept in spoilers wrap for at least a week following the TV broadcast, I think this should be no different, unless of course there's a double standard.

I'm still trying to figure out what the poster was referring to as to what spoilers were posted. We're just talking about our reactions to the animated series, not posting any particulars about the plot. Last time I checked, revealing what character appear in an episode simply doesn't rise to the level of spoiler information. Revealing specific details about the plot is what's known as "spoilers'.

The dialogue is definitely dumbed down for children, but it's not 100% as kiddie as I thought it was going to be.

No way! Clone Wars was much darker at times and visually much more 'grown-up'. Although I admit its early days but I can't see this one changing much, to me its like a kids cartoon.

SWCW got darker as the seasons progressed...

Its not even the early days, its the pilot episode.

You said visually much more 'grown-up'… but nah, they are both similarly stylized, a little less CGi looking.

The ex prod said:“The world we’re creating is an Imperial world. You’re seeing the impact of the Empire, of stormtroopers around the galaxy, abusing and oppressing people. Thematically and politically, it goes to some dark places. But for the tone of the show we took our cues from the original movies, which had fun and adventure and swashbuckling with emotion and grounded human characters. We took all our cues from the original films.

IMO both fit the same PG rating just fine.

Thanks. I guess I need to find time to watch it myself before I let my son watch it. He has seen previews and has asked about it, but I don't like him to watch something I am not familar with. PG can be all over the place these days.

STAR WARS REBELS: JAMES EARL JONES TO VOICE DARTH VADER

Quote:
BY MATT FOWLERABC will be re-airing the Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion TV movie (which leads into the Star Wars Rebels series on Disney XD) on Sunday, October 26th, at 7pm ET/PT - featuring an all new Darth Vader scene! And doing the voice of Vader? The legendary OG Vader, James Earl Jones.

"We wanted to do something special for the ABC broadcast," Executive Producer Dave Filoni said. "We've added a scene which gives audiences insight into the Inquisitor and includes a cameo by Darth Vader voiced by the distinguished actor James Earl Jones."

That R2 and C3PO were "back on".

Granted it's not a huge one, but I could see where with Disney's stupid decision to show the series online 2 weeks ahead of its TV broadcast it could rapidly become an issue.

I don't know...

Spoilers for Droids In Distress:

[Show spoiler]All the talk about the Empire's brutal slaughter of Zeb's people was pretty dark.

Not to mention the Imperial ISB Agent gloating about having Zeb's people slaughtered.

The same guy who also casually kicked a Stormtrooper into a chasm for annoying him in the pilot.

That special "Darth Vader" appearance is being done for the ABC broadcast, because they wanted to do something special for the broadcast. Interesting that JEJ is back again to voice Darth Vader.

Even with the darker episodes, you still had a few "kiddy episodes" sprinkled into the last few seasons. Season 4 had Mercy Mission and Nomad Droids while season 5 had the now infamous 'D-Squad arc' which is by far the kiddiest material related to both shows.
