He makes films he wants to make not what he thinks will make money. I love everyone of films for this, Mariachi & Desperado just great fun action films, Dusk till dawn huge horror fun, Spy Kids are some of the most fun family films for a long time. Its a shame you think Sin City was his only good film (his most commercial).

Frank Miller is a hack who RR gave way to much credit to (his title of Director, now he thinks he can make his own films, the spirit doesn't look like it will have any artistic direction apart from copying Sin City's original take on comic books)
