My copy finall came today. It's number 2,340/10,000

I'm mad because it's SUPPOSED to be within the first 1,000 copies according to my order number. I'll get over it, and I'm not going to make a big stink, but the stupidity of the process for me has somewhat killed my initial excitement.

Really????.?
Some people like the logo's for nostalgic reasons. but thanks for understanding

I agree. I wouldn't miss a logo if it's not there, but it's jarring when a new logo appears on an old film.

Does it really matter? As long as you've received it, is what counts. It's nothing to get upset over.

I guess it depends; it would have cost more money to buy on the official site, and I suppose some people really did spend extra to be in the first thousand (although the fact it shipped several weeks beforehand was probably an incentive too, hah). I'd love to get 1337 or 10,000. S'about it.

That's high praise indeed. Hellraiser is one of my favorite movies period. Hearing stuff like this makes me really excited to watch this.

How's Elfman's score sound in the director's cut? Does it sound weird due to the new editing?

Not at all, but I wasn't listening for it when I watched either. There was nothing jarring about it and it all felt right. I think bad edits would've got my attention.

Cool, after the positive feedback about this new cut I think I'll probably pick it up. I've never actually seen this film before (have heard and enjoyed snippits of the score on the old Danny Elman Music For a Darkened Theatre CD), so I guess nows the time.

That's why I said I'd get over it and that I'm not making a huge stink. It's just a bit disappointing. Like, instead of feeling like Christmas morning, it was more like, "Well, at least it's here and now I can watch it!"

I'm sure once I watch it tonight after work, I'll be very happy.

And yes this. I paid full price mainly for the early release, but that was also hugely delayed. Several pages back, I was talking about how it hadn't even shipped when people had already been receiving theirs for a week. I had to call Shout factory to get them to ship it, as something had been messed up. The low number was my next thing that had me somewhat excited. The whole experience has just been fairly soured. At least the poster is in good shape.

I'm probably coming off angrier than I actually feel. Like I said earlier, it's just that enough things have been disappointing that it's actually eaten into my excitement.

I don't know if this has been asked before, but does anyone think it would be wise to order this from Blowitoutahere? I know they are reputable because I order from them all of the time, but I'm just asking because of this edition's limited status.

The LE isn't selling out anytime soon.

This release might technically be limited to 10K but that is a giant number for a catalog title. I wouldn't think you would have a problem with this selling out and blowitoutahere not getting stock. but you never know.

It does matter when a company fails to provide you with what you paid for. Should never have had to call them to get it to shipped out and not getting a number in the first 1000 isnt acceptable. You should contact them, any bussiness worth a damn would make this right (refund you part of the price, nice discount on your next order). It's one thing when a customer is just looking to get somthing for free and it's another when the business screws up.

Thanks. I was just curious because it'll come out A LOT cheaper on Blowitoutahere than my Amazon order ($55.98), but I didn't want to lose out.

I don't know if it has been talked about before, but I got a LE nightbreed yesterday. But I ordered the standard edition. I have seen a few people on the interwebs had the same thing happen, and I just got an email from shout saying that they are sending me a pre-paid mailer so I can send it back, but I can keep the poster. I was actually going to email them to let them know I got the LE on accident. Everyone I know has told me to just keep it, but I definitely don't want to be that guy.

Yeah, I'll preorder from them and cancel my Amazon order. It'll be great to save $10 bucks and once I pay for this, I'll be broke (with spare cash) for a couple of weeks , but that's okay.
