Looking forward to seeing this one despite the mediocre reviews. I wasn't a huge fan of Control but The American was an excellent film.

saw this at the cinema, wasn't quite as good as TTSS, but still very good. PSH was excellent.

Comes with a lovely embossed slip (front and spine title and yellow squares on front).

Watch it the other day slow pace, heavy dialogue and a story that doesn't hold your interest.

Worth a watch still. I would actually like to see it again - despite it not being one of my favourites of last year, I think there's something there. It might get better with repeat viewings.

Exact same as U.S. release...

The Making of A Most Wanted Man (1080p; 16:09) is yet another cut and paste EPK, though it does have some good interviews with Hoffman and others in the cast and crew.

Spymaster: John le Carré in Hamburg (1080p; 9:32) is a much better featurette, one that offers the iconic author discussing his own history in the intelligence business as well as his long fascination with Germany and Hamburg in particular.

Also has 4 (HD) trailers...'The Homesman', Foxcather', 'A Walk Among The Tombstones' and 'Maps To The Stars' (not sure if US disc has these of not).

I thought Control was a great film but then again I'm a fan of Joy Division so maybe I'm biased. Anything with Philip Seymour Hoffman has got to be worth a viewing.

I might need to see it again really, I wasn't a big Joy Division fan at the time (more of a New Order man myself). But I really enjoyed The American and think it's a little overlooked as one of Clooney's best films.

A Most Wanted Man is worth it for Hoffman's performance alone, yes. Dafoe is pretty good too though. I'd certainly watch it again.

This was easily one of the better films from last year IMHO.

Certain films can be a better watch at home. I remember watching True Grit at the cinema and finding it really slow and long, but watched it at home quite recently and I felt it was much better.

Just watched this last night- disappointed tbh. I loved 'Control' and 'The American' by Anton Corbijn and Philips Seymour Hoffman is always good to watch but this one fell a little flat. A lot of dodgy German accents and I found the escaped militant quite annoying. Rachel McAdams looks gorgeous tho!
