This will be the first cod I won't be getting day one. I've had them all day one since cod 4 but this year I'm just not feeling the urge to get it asap. I don't know why that is though, because the game looks like it could have one of the best campaigns in a long time.

I got serious CoD fatigue with Ghosts.

Black Ops 2 was awesome, and I played that till max prestige. AW seems a lot like Black Ops 2, so I will give AW a chance.

Yeah, I haven't been interested in COD in a while, in terms of day 1. AW though has me intrigued and I'm most likely going to get it day 1. Maybe it'll rip me from Destiny.

Really liking what I have seen so far. I am still not sure 100% of a day 1 purchase but I'm excited to give the SP a go. Hoping for at least a 10-12 hour campaign.

I liked the SP of Ghost but couldn't get into the MP for some reason. Hopefully they make some changes and not just rehash the same old game play. Maybe that will get me back into playing this on a regular occasion.

This will be the first COD game I am getting on day one thanks to the killer deal from Best Buy. Wondering if I should get the season pass right away or do those usually go on sale down the road?

Exact same sentiments here. Ghosts was not a good game and it coming right after Black Ops 2 made it look even worse.

But Advanced Warfare looks good and I can't wait to play it on November 3.

Not really that's just the price you pay for buying things right away. Just like with anything that gets cheaper over time. But I'm sure they don't go on sale since they know they will sell even at full price.

I guess I'm the only one in the world who genuinely enjoyed Ghosts. The MP was nothing to brag about but I really liked the SP. We finally got a bad guy with real tangible motivations. Not just wanting to start a world war for the heck of it.

And did I read the BB ad right? Trade in Ghosts toward AW for a $20 credit? I'm going to get this day one because I really want something to play. Or rather I'm getting it day zero.

So how does this Day Zero stuff work? I am going to pre-order this next Sunday at BB. How do I then gain access a day early?

You just get to play the game a day early whereas others will only be able to play on the 4th.

If you pre-order the day zero edition you can pick up the game on the 3rd instead of the 4th.

If you see yourself playing this a lot and getting the season pass, then yes it's worth it. Otherwise it's not going to be worth it.

Although you could technically just get the regular $60 game and buy the season pass for $50 and still save $10 if you don't care about the swag that comes with the Atlas Pro Edition.
