That's an apples and oranges comparison, if I've ever seen one. Assault on Precinct 13, easily. I like X-Ray and, to a lesser extent, Schizoid, but Assault on Precinct 13 is an all time favorite of mine. If you're specifically looking for a horror film, look elsewhere. Assault on Precinct 13 is a pure 70's exploitation action thriller variation of Rio Bravo.

Thanks for the input guys, i was leaning towards Assault, ive seen the remake but not the original (shame on me, i know) and i havent seen X-Ray or Schizoid, was just trying to make my final decision for Shocktober week 3, it gets a little nerve racking trying to weigh the pros and cons and cost of everything , anyway thanks for helping me decide, ill definately be going with Assault on Precinct 13

I'm gonna jump on the bandwagon and say Assault all the way. I just watched it for the first time last night, and I've listened to the soundtrack all day. It's awesome.

X-Ray/Schizoid are two of the weakest titles in the Scream catalog in my opinion

I found X-Ray/Schizoid to be fun, but Assault is prime John Carpenter and a Stone Cold Classic.

We veer more into sci-fi territory this time: 1989’s ROBOT JOX (helmed by legendary From Beyond and Dolls Director Stuart Gordon) will make its debut on the Blu-ray format in Summer 2015! No other details to report at this time.

I love, LOVE this movie! In college my buddy and I would always say "Achillies, I crush you like bug!!" at random times just for sheetz & giggles. Will be pre-ordering for sure!

Robot Jox!!! I cannot wait to get this. I don't know how many times I rented this from the video store when I was 9 or 10. It will be fun to see it again. Hopping for some good behind the scenes feature on the model work used.
