It took absolutely forever to go from 27 to 29 because I was getting energy 5-to-1 compared to shards. It's been a week since I did finally hit 29 and have no armor to level up anymore. It's now the exact opposite ratio. The past 3 days, absolutely no energy from the daily activities (heroic mission/PVE) It's almost like the game knows what you need and gives you the other.

Seriously, does this game track what we need and then conspire against us? It seems that if I don't need something, I see it everywhere I look but if I do need something, it is nowhere to be found.

Did Nightfall and got a 2nd Suros. Dismantled it...

Others got 10 coins and an unfriendly giant. Nobody was happy.

Beat the Nightfall with jsteinhauer & My_Two_Cents. Have to say it was tricky but once you work together, it's rather easy. Played it once yesterday and died and resumed this evening and got it the first time. Got 9 coins out if it. At least it pushed me over 150 marks and was able to finally buy the Vanguard Shadow Price, my first Legendary auto which I will use for Crucible. Ill still use my VOC for regular missions.

It's an easy one. Timing is good, since you have to talk to Xür. Then you just have to get 500 enemy kill points (using rocket launchers detracts from this score) and it's done. No Crucible crap needed.

500 enemy points...meaning fallen, hive, etc. enemies? Or enemies in the crucible?

Just had a good day yesterday. Joined up with some people I met the night before. Did the Weekly Nightfall. Good teamwork got an exotic sniper the Patience and Time. Later on I did the Vault of Glass on easy. It was my first time. Had a good crew. Took my position and stuck to it. We beat it and I got Atheon's Epilogue. The sniper is cool because the camo and it looks like the auto rifle is going to be a beast, and it does void damage. Now to find some people and try the VOG on hard.

No Crucible crap needed

You just have to off a certain amount of enemies in the game using machine guns. It didn't take long for me.

I was presented with three exotic bounties the other day. All for weapon types I don't care for, and all involved doing something in the Crucible. I chose to not undertake any of them.

Ok cool, thanks. I've partaken in some crucible for bounties. While it's not the best, it's not the worst either. I'm definitely better in it than when I first started, I know that.

How the hell is this not patched yet? The game is basically pointless at this time. Everyone just cheats. Can't wait till the patch when all the cheaters will be crying their eyes out that they can't beat the Raid legit.

That's not cheating, I'm just taking what the game gives me and trust me I won't cry once it gets patched. I'll just go back to regular ways. Bungie keeps changing this game that next week once we figure the random teleport out they'll just throw another wrench in just because we're not playing how they want us too.

If you want just let me know, I have the checkpoint and it'll me a try or two to get you the kill

OK back to leveling my 2 mythocasts and 4 helms.

Life's not fair, it's just a video game. It's not an open world mmo so drops don't affect any kind of auction house value or trade. Its actually quite satisfying being able to solo Atheon, cheese and all.
