A member on the Criterion forum sent an e-mail to Drafthouse regarding this issue, and this was the reply he got:

It's out of print for now while Cinedigm gets our back catalog into production. We still have plenty in stock!

Database says September 9th. Don't know if that's accurate or not but seems like an appropriate time.

Yeah, I just saw the date on Amazon and BN. I tried to edit my post, but for whatever reason I was having issues.

I effing love Drafthouse Films. How much do I effing love Drafthouse Films? Enough to create and lovingly maintain this bit of OCD wackiness:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

Enjoy. Or disregard and never think of again. For those in the first group, here's what the three separate dates in parentheses means in the left-most column:

(date of world premiere) (date of U.S. limited release) (date of DVD/Blu-Ray)

Ah yes, and the coloring. Blue means I own and have watched, black I own but have not yet watched, red I don't yet own (and has not been released.)

You need to get to watching Miami Connection is what that sheet tells me. There's nothing like it. In fact, I think I will pull my copy for tonight.

niiiice. yes i'm woefully behind on my viewing and incredibly scattershot. i'll go see some so-so mainstream release or watch an episode of a merely decent TV show while all these other gems i own go unwatched. As of yet.

Purchashed The Act of Killing last night at my local Alamo Drafthouse. It was cheaper than what was listed on Amazon, and they gave me a coupon for a free popcorn & 2 sodas. So awesome.

I'm probably going to work on getting all their current releases and sign up for the Alliance program.

It looks like this is more or less true of all the Image Entertainment-distributed titles. I wonder if these titles are being discontinued or if they'll be redistributed through Drafthouse's current distributor, Cinedigm.

Does anybody know about upcoming titles that have spine #s but no release dates? Does Drafthouse Films announce release dates ahead of time?

Blu-Ray release dates have been announced through spine # 23 (The Dog), but Drafthouse's website indicates that it has films lined up from Spine # 24 (The Congress) through Spine # 33 (The Look of Silence) that currently do not have Blu-Ray release dates.

No. It's a long story, but that's not happening. We've recently received our stock of returns from Image and will be selling those on our site and as a third-party Amazon Prime seller. When we run out of those, we'll be printing them as needed ourselves.

As someone who has a grasp on their pattern:

The Congress (#24) is set for December 2, according to Amazon.
20,000 Days on Earth (#25) is likely to hit in January. They seldom skip so it'll be Dec/Jan.
Why Don't You Play In Hell? (#26) is set for January. There was an article on this site about it a few days ago.
I'm going to wager we'll see The Overnighters (#27) in February.

They have a newsletter, because I get it. I assume I was subscribed because I bought something from them. They also have a blog on their site.
