Bounties are the best way to level up and upgrade your gear. I do as many as I can, but with three characters I can never get to them all. ALWAYS check to see if one applies to something you are going to do anyway. I hate when I forget this and do a daily that there was a bounty for. Try and do Nightfall early in the week for XP bonus. 5000 XP for some of those heroic mission bounties. They don't take that long (probably no longer than 6 patrol missions) and you can quit out once you kill the target. Patrol bounties I try and match up with a public event. The only one I almost never do anymore is the multikills with fusion rifles. The Fallen in the main structure on the Steppes used to spawn a couple of times per minute, and you could get two multikills or more as they came up the steps, but they've reduced that frequency, and you can wait several minutes sometimes. Not worth it.

I still do it there and it's still pretty fast. That bounty takes less then 5 minutes for me. Definitely less time then the 6 patrol missions.

In the end I always do the bounties and try to group them together. Usually takes 1 hour to do all the bounties (unless it's strike or nightfal related)

Jon that main building in the Steppes spawns them every ten seconds, PROVIDED you've killed the Fallen over by the "entry into The Divide" area next to it. If there's Fallen there or a skiff drops off enemies, they won't spawn in the main building.

That Fusion one can be knocked out in 5 mins that way.

Ya it's tough Luckily I don't have anything to buy this week ( I bought the Armamentarium last week and Suros the 2nd week) I just started my second character Titan (level 10) so it will be nice to get double coins when my character is there, even if it is excessive.

For the fusion rifle just keep a save at the moon mission where your ghost says "we've woken the hive" after insectibg the dead guardian and 50 enemies pour out the door. Takes 5min max

It was a purple engram. But ya I know what you mean about leveling gear. Usually I can spare the parts bit working on hunter right now lol

Biz has like, 96 characters. When the max is 3. It doesn't make sense to me either. I don't think he needs the shards.

But yeah, if you upgrade the weapon/armor right up to the point where it needs energy/shards, you get more energy/shards than just dismantling it as soon as you get it.

Remember this - armor pieces ALWAYS cost 13 coins. Secondary weapons will ALWAYS cost 17 coins. Primary weps will ALWAYS be 23 coins.

The shard struggle is real! My Hunter needs to max out his new Legendary chest and raid hands

Plus I don't like sharing Titan gear so Titan #2 needs shards for his raid helm lol

Yesterday I spent about all my Vanguard marks through all 3 guys and bought 5 Vanguard chest pieces lol

Ended up getting about 12 Shards from those. I do have about 130 Energy so weapons are covered for a bit.
