Poor signings and the total stupidity of not bringing in a striker pretty much condemned us to this struggle. You guys won right? Haven't checked all scores but you were winning. I turned tv off at 5 0 lol.

It'll be interesting to see two struggling teams with everything to play for go head to head. Especially as I'm expecting Leicester, especially on their current form, to probably only pick two more points over the next three games AT BEST and be in the bottom three before meeting you guys.

I think you guys are capable of picking up again. I just hope it's not at our expense. 4 wins to take us to 20 points doesn't dound a lot but once the rot sets in........

Yeah, I was surprised they didn't bring in more potent strikers. You said it a million times in the off-season that that's what your team needs. I guess management is still being way too frugal.
We won today finally in a convincing fashion. It hasn't been a pretty start to our season, but it seems we're heading in the right direction.
I hope your team won't hover around the relegation zone most of the season like last year, but it seems victories have been hard to come by for your squad too.

Yeah and a sell out away crowd of 2,500 yet again let down. Going to drown my sorrows with pizza and chips!

You guys I can see getting stronger as the season goes on.

That must be the worst performance you have seen from a Sunderland team steedeel the defending was a joke.
We should have had control of the game today against Hull but we failed to do that again but it was a bad decision by the ref to allow the first goal by Hull.

Oh, there have been a few Tob but yes, that would have to be in the top 5 worst of all time.

Conceding that many means we are pushed down to 4th bottom as well. Fed up.

We have to beat arsenal now. (sorry man!)

May the best team win Tob! We are desperate but you guys need points as well. We need some payback for that humiliation last week.

I expect a lot harder match from Sunderland after last weeks performance and they want to prove to themselves that they can something out of the Arsenal match but i think it be a draw steedeel.

I would normally be delighted with that but after last week I am still fuming. They let the fans down big time. You are probably right Tob. We have some rough fixtures starting tomorrow so desperate for win. You guys have some injuries but still loads of quality.

But if you saw our performance against Anderlecht wednesday night steedeel you will see how poor we were again and with only two wins in the league we are not on form.

Did you go to the match last week steedeel and i did see on SkySports news that the Sunderlands fans would like a refund which i would agree the club has to refund the fans who went to that game.

Looks like Sunderland need a new keeper rather than a new striker.

Anyway another miserable weekend for Leicester fans as the club drops closer and closer to the bottom three. And they deserve to at the minute honestly this was probably their worst performance in a string of abysmal ones.

Gutted. We seem to be getting worse under Poyet. It is now obvious that regardless of manager, imo, the club isn't being run correctly. Congerton and Short need to realise that imo, they don't have a clue how to run a football club. The life is being sucked out of the club and it really showed today. In my lifetime I have never known the fans to be so downbeat. It was like a library today at certain sections of the ground and I have never known this before. Our fans are always passionate and upbeat. Our time has ran out it seems and for 40,000 fans today it was a message that seemed to be fixed on every fan's face. After the miracle last year, to not take advantage and push on this year is disgusting and it makes me numb that those sorry, sad pathetic excuses for strikers are still on our books. Fletcher is not capable of playing as a lone striker, anyone can see it. Why can't Poyet? Wick ham is useless and Altidore........I can't find words for him at the moment

Now, my congratulations to Tob. I wasn't very impressed with Arsenal, they looked better last season. I honestly think we gave arsenal the win rather than them earning it. I'm sure Tob won't mind me saying that. However, a win is a win so congratulations Tob (always hard to do that in such an important game)

As for Leicester, we are now in direct competition with them to stay up, so they become the enemy! Sorry Man . I know how you are feeling, believe me. Hopefully, we will both survive but I think we have pushed our luck too far.

You'd be lucky to get Leicester as an enemy, minus one great win we haven't really played well all season. We gave it a good go, sure, but that would have only counted if we picked up the points during the games where we had a chance, which we just haven't. We are doing better than Burnley and QPR sure but not nearly well enough to rise above the fight for relegation.

Pearson is always honest about the clubs failings each week but nothing changes, so maybe Pearson needs to start being more honest with himself than the club. The team this week lacked direction, he made a triple substitution and only one of them added to the game in a miss so embarrassing Pearson should be ashamed.

We've got quality players, even today Mahrez and Morgan shined, and Drinkwater and Vardy put in pockets of brilliance when they could but there is something going wrong when the pieces are coming together. Whether it's formation, tactics, team structuring, training regime, something is going horribly wrong and I'm starting to really believe it is nothing to do with the team but more in how they are used. Pearson relies on players like Nugent for example, always playing him in key positions and he's bloody USELESS.

Your right steedeel if it wasn't for that mistake from Brown i think the game would have been a draw.
How do Sunderland fans again and again put up with them mistakes from the defence over and over again.
Poyet should have made big changes for the game against us after that shocking result last week against Southampton.
Sunderland like you said steedeel need serious investment in the squad so Poyet has to make changes in January.
