Default Used Blu-rays to sell...

Does anybody know where I can just walk into a store and sell some used Blu-rays I don't want anymore? I know about the "trading" on the forums here, but I really rather just walk into a store and sell them than hassle with shipping and just the process itself. I would really appreciate if anyone knows a place. There used to be a Music Exchange in my town that bought used DVDs and I'm sure if they were there, they would buy used BDs... Anyway, help!

Not sure where you could go and get what they are worth...or even close to it. Your best bet really is to trade online or sell on ebay or something...

Unfortunately, even if you do find used Blu-Ray discs at this point....they will cost as much as new ones practically. You would still come out better hitting an Amazon sale...I think most people know this and would avoid buying used if they could....my guess is that places like moviestop and others will give you crap for them and try to turn around and sell them for more than what you'd pay at Wal-mart more than likely....sux..but that's the way it is...

I would try tell sell them on your own on eBay or Amazon. Selling them to a trading store will just rpe you off. You will get next to nothing for blu ray. The same holds true for games. I think the max they will give you for a new release game is $25. I have sold that same game that they offered $25 for on eBay for $40. Do it yourself if you can to get the best return on your investment.

it depends on the game like if someone traded in Grand Theft Auto 4 or Metal Gear Solid 4 they would get more like $30 to $35 something like that but if someone traded in like Madden 2008 well then yeah they wont get to much for it probably more like $10 to $12. as for blu-ray movies its usually between $6 to like $12 so basically traded in is s like getting half of yourr money back and plus all of these kinds of places have like a membership card where you get an extra amount back or like get store credit when trading in like 2 and get an extra $10

That's the truth!! I stopped in FYE and saw where new releases were priced at $39.99, so I casually asked the sales rep if they ever thought of selling used Blu-rays. He said the already sell them and pointed me to a bin of used Blu-rays selling for $24.95 I know you want to provide a service and make a decent profit but gheesh!!

Most of those you get cheaper on Amazon or on sale almost anywhere else.

Gamestop gives you nothing either.
Stores are not in business to make things easy or fair for you, they are there to make a profit and as such trades will always suck.
Your best bet is here or ebay.

Might I also suggest Craigslist, if you live in any sort of moderately sized city, or near one. You can then avoid the shipping issue, if you tell people to just come pick them up. Make sure you only accept cash, just in case someone tries to write you a bad check.

Very true, I never knew how much they gave you for them...I've never tried.

I went in there and saw Juno for $39.99 after purchasing it for $18

FYE is a nightmare pricewise

Grand Theft is one of the rare exceptions. They will give you a little more but you can still do better on Amazon or eBay. Madden 08 for 10 or 12 bucks good luck with that. I would be shocked if they gave you more than a couple of dollars for that one. What is the point of getting an additional $10 if they are ripping you off in the first place. Even with the additional $10 you will still net more then that after selling on eBay or other sites like that. Face it EBGames and Gamestops are a rip off like all the other stores. They need to watch their margins so the selling gets screwed and then its the buyers turn.
