yeah exactly heard the online thing and damage before but it never happens, but they always make a very nice game

GT4 was great. One of the few PS2 games that does 480p.

GT4 could do 1080i also. I think the only PS2 game to do that.

Maybe if you read about WHY they scrapped online play in GT4 you'd realise it won't be a problem with the PS3.

Trust me, I would bet my life on it that GT5 will be online. The next Gen of games are online, thats what its all about now days.

Polyphony did a closed Japanese online test with a modified version of GT4 in preparation for GT5. Mark my words: GT5 is online. And when Polyphony do a feature, they don't do it by halves.

Looks like GT5 Prologue will be a PlayStation Network release!

For the benefit of new PlayStation fans: GT Prologue is like a large paid-for sampler of the full game to keep you going until the full release. Usually you can carry over the content you've completed (driving licenses, money, cars bought and won etc) to the full version of the game.
