The Nexus! Of course, the first Nightfall I ever tried (and failed on) - who's in for giving this baby a shot around 7/730 EST then the Weekly Strike right after? Shoooot, might as well knock out the Daily and the Public Events too.

I think that was the first nightfall I ever did completed it thanks to narmak

As long as all three of you stay up top on the end boss and have one look out for the vex spawn behind you it should be fine.

Of course taking out the 3 servitors at the start is the hard part. Also the hob goblins that one hit kill you as you get closer to the nexus are a pain.

But take your time and use a warlock if possible. His unlimited revive is priceless.

Got my first piece of Raid armor (boots) Sunday! Also picked up the Hezen Vengeance RL as well.

Anyone want to run the Daily, Weekly & Nightfall with jsteinhauer and I? We'll be starting between 7:00pm - 7:30pm EST tonight.

Did the raid on normal last night before the reset. I got the chestpiece from the Gatekeeper checkpoint we missed on hard with the Blu guys on Saturday. Just need the gauntlets now for 30. I have the Saint-14 helm, but really hoping Xur sells Helm of Inmost Light or Insurmountable Skullfort Friday.

Well Lizard, that was ugly but I got some good experience with the Relic. It was pretty easy, especially when I could get a good first strike on the Pretorian. I had a good time anyway.

Sweet, we got our 3! See you this evening. I'm not sure about the modifiers since I haven't been on since last night. I'd love to upgrade that HV RL but I'm still addicted to the Corrective Measure.

Same here, thanks for taking the time. It was nice to get a little relic time in without the pressure of ruining someones game, lol. After we left I went farming spirit blooms and got a blue engram drop that turned into a legendary shadow price, so it was a good night anyway!

FYI in case you didn't already know this (I didn't until I read this last night). You, your weapons and armor all level-up as you use them (duh), but it's most important to have equipped whatever weapon/armor you are leveling when the XP is given. By this, I mean you can run through multiple bounties using whatever weapon/armor you want, but when you turn in the bounties, make sure you have equipped anything you need to apply the XP for upgrade. I believe this is also true for your ability. I also believe it's true when running story levels, dailys, etc. Just make sure to have equipped whatever you want upgraded before the end of the mission so that when XP is given, it goes where you want it.

If I understand this incorrectly, someone jump in, but that's what I got from several different sources last night.

I've been doing the item swap thing for bounties since launch once I noticed that was how it worked. Subclasses work in the same manner in that whatever one is selected will get exp dolled out to it. I rarely used the Titan defender class but I have both of them maxed out because I was swapping once the offensive one was finished.

LFG for Raid or at least nightfall and weekly heroic at around 5PM EST today, can pretty much play all night so if it has to be later that's cool. Fairly well equipped level 28 hunter

Logged in today after the update and had a package at the Postmaster. Got a consumable called "Jackolyte"

Not sure what that does exactly though.
