I've been doing the item swap thing for bounties since launch once I noticed that was how it worked. Subclasses work in the same manner in that whatever one is selected will get exp dolled out to it. I rarely used the Titan defender class but I have both of them maxed out because I was swapping once the offensive one was finished.

Mostly stability fixes + Please stop cheesing Atheon

I suspect there are going so be some players that are not going to be able to finish Vault of Glass now because they actually have to learn how to defeat Supplicants and Oracles.

Summary
This update makes Destiny a more stable experience for all players. We’re also changing the player experience in the Raid to ensure that the activity provides an endgame challenge that meets project goals for the intended level of difficulty.

General
Fixed an issue in which multiple errors reported with Zebra error codes
Errors previously reporting as Zebra will now display as their own separate codes
Fixed a rare issue related to being Kicked To Login repeatedly
Fixed a rare issue that resulted in a Kick To Orbit reported with the Cockatoo error code

Servers
Fixed an issue where some players would occasionally be erroneously kicked at the beginning of an activity due to a server error
Increased protection against account corruption

Raid
Fixed an issue where Atheon was not choosing random targets for teleport through the timestream during the final encounter on the Vault of Glass
Fixed an exploit where Atheon could be forced off his platform

More updates are to follow as we continue to support Destiny. Future enhancements being worked on include Exotic Weapon tuning, new features for voice communication between matchmade teammates, and the ability to hold more Bounties in your pocket at any time.

Yup, you can forget doing it with more than 1 newbie now. Any more than that and you will have a lot of trouble since the first time he picks 2 new people to teleport it's game over.....

I don't think I will have a problem doing what needs to be done on my end, but I hate that the people who are a little slower getting to the point where most of us are will possibly miss out on the experience since nobody will want them on their team now.

I've got two things going on. One is that my wife is, as of this morning, out of town until Sunday. The other is that the TFE clan seems to be suffering from a lack of commitment and leadership at the moment. As such, two of my three 29+ characters would be appreciative of an opportunity to play the Vault of Glass with a party who might start before 11pm central for a change, as I don't have to pause when the wife gets home from work around 9pm. Normal or Hard is fine, as I still need one piece of armor for all characters and have never been past the confluxes on hard. The last time TFE clan attempted, the team boss brought along some level 27's, because the regulars decided not to show up. One of whom I mentioned in an earlier post. Been through normal mode numerous times without cheese. There are some parts I'm pretty bad at, but I'll disclose those if and when it's necessary.

"Hold more bounties at one time". ****ING FINALLY! Cut down on my loading/travelling to the Tower Bungie and you'll make me happy. Maybe now I can load them up one day, log out. Load more up the next day, log out. Keep doing that and only really play 1 day a week instead of piecemeal right now.

Made no sense to have 5 slots when you have 6 in a day (crucible and vanguard) other then to waste more time. The exotic bounties should also not be using a slot since they take a long time and should be in the missions parts since I've never seen more then 3 in there at a time.

That is listed under "Future enhancements" so no telling when it will be implemented.

I would be happy to join in on normal, I don't feel like the punishment that is hard mode, lol. I will be on about 7-10CST and can maybe stretch it a LITTLE if need be. I don't have a team. I was hoping someone else would have an opening, but if we can make a team, that's cool, too. Honestly hoping for the 1-2 hour range rather than the 4-5 hour range. And whatever it takes, if someone's doing it on hard.

We have a guy in our group that is bowing out of raiding with us to play other games. He has gotten 0 raid armor in the 5 times we've done it.

Anyway, it's a group of mostly 'professionals' in their 30's (age wise). They talk some smack but it's all in good fun. 2 of them are very organized and they communicate instructions to the team. We finished on normal in less than an hour last night.

If you're interested, I can talk to them and schedule a date. We usually go at about 9:00 EST or so. Is there a specific day you'd want to do it? They seem to like weekdays the best as we haven't done one on the weekend yet.
