I wonder what impact Shareplay will have if any on sales of games. Something like MGS GZ, for example can easily be beaten in two sessions. Ditto on a lot of the indie stuff

Had fun playing with the USB music app, but wow, haven't seen a mp3 player this basic since my first crappy mp3 player in the early 2000's. I haven't had to put tracks in a folder and put a number or letter in front of file name so it will play in the right order in at least a decade. This music app is really old school.

Lol with how sony has treated our requests its pretty obvious that they just threw the media stuff at the Interns the night before and they crapped out this update. Sony has really got their lazy face on now that they are beating MS

Tried downloading YouTube, NBA GameTime and a PSN game... no luck with any. Servers not working correctly I guess, but I had no issues watching WWE Network.

I'm just curious, what more do you want or need it to do? How else do you expect it to "know" the order you want something played in if you don't number or letter the tracks?

Put in a thumb drive and your system will recognize it and download the software to play the music.

the first thing I did was put in my drive and nothing happened

eta: It told me that my drive wasn't supported and I figured its bc its formatted in NFTS

Just turned my PS4 back on from rest mode and then it froze on the blue wavy screen. Had to hold power button for like 30 seconds for it to turn off then turn back on. It had to check system storage then gave me alert saying it wasn't turned off properly.

It needs playlist support, so you can at least create a playlist within the app. The PS3 even allows you to create a playlist.

Another good example, the xbox 360 can stream music from my Mac (while I'm playing any game) and it reads all of my Itunes' playlists.

There's no software to download. The USB music player is included in the update. I simply inserted my USB drive (formatted fat32) into the USB slot and the USB music player popped up on the screen.

Its very barebones. They should allow to sort by song, artist, album, genre, year, etc.... Playlist support as mentioned would be welcomed

No issues updating on my end. Themes and Ytube app downloaded no problem. Glad I can change the color on my home screen. That red is very catchy but I prefer the dark blue. Not a real big fan of the free themes, but can't complain about freebies.
