The main site's review is extremely harsh in regard to film itself. While, of course, every writer is entitled to his or her opinion, I hope it does not dissuade people from giving this small film a chance. It is a fun, tightly wound, and extremely well-shot suspense film in the spirit of vintage Brian De Palma.

I just found out about this and I am totally excited. Sure the Amazon reviews are not so great, but every library in town has a long waiting list for this title. It must have something worth watching.

I don't think I enjoyed it quite as much as you, but I agree it was very De Palmaesque, which was neat.

It's definitely worth a watch for those curious about it.

I watched this last night. Interesting flick.

[Show spoiler]The ending was very weird, could have gone on for another 30 minutes IMO. Also, the end credits music, very cool that they picked that piece!

ETA: After watching this again, I do have to say the music is very well done. A critic might say differently, but I enjoyed it a lot.

Really enjoyed this. Basically like Phone Booth, but still quite tense. I also thought the site review was being a bit harsh, it was a good thriller with fantastic cinematography.

That split-screen shot halfway in was amazing.

It tries hard to be a Brian DePalma film, but the sense of style isn't on the same level. What is annoying that there are so many things that happen in the film no audience for a classical concert would put up with. It bears no relationship to the reality of what it pretends to be about.

This is a thing I've seen quite a bit these days: slow credits to cover up a short running time.

hate to bump such an old thread, but its pretty interesting to note that the screenwriter of this film went on to greater success with his own directorial efforts Whiplash and La La Land.
