man if its not one thing its another. So basically amazon is now selling copies they are not entitled to? is barnes a small retailer?

I got a number over 9400 today from Amazon. They sent it in a bubblemailer, allowing a couple of bad nicks to the spine.

Normally I would return it for a replacement, but I am scared to death Amazon is going to run out of copies. I guess I will live with the damage.

Shout has not handled this release very well. First increasing the print run from 5000 to 10000, then shipping out the LE for people who only ordered the Director's Cut, and now accidentally shipping most of their stock to Amazon (if that is indeed true).

You right about this but the price is about $25 more to Canada if I'm not wrong...

The owner that I spoke with today face to face is nowhere on the scale of BN. Much smaller.

this is a bad year for ordering shout/scream releases.

They are showing it as in stock now so if you contact them now you should get a replacement. But depending on how many returns Amazon and other retailers get because of the set arriving damaged, there will be less than 10000 copies in the wild.

The sucky thing is that I had it pre-ordered from Amazon.com for $55.98 plus shipping+import fees but I cancelled it when it showed up on Amazon.ca. Thought I would save $20-$25 by getting it from .ca but who knows if we will even get it now.

If we order it from .com now it will cost us $100+ dollars after all the fees are added in.

Yeah if you order it from Shout they can just send you a case to replace your damaged one. But what happens to Amazon's returns for example. Amazon will return the opened sets to Shout, then will Shout reprint the case and resend it back to retailers, cause that will be dishonest as the product would have already been considered used.
