Thanos looks like a ***** because someone decided he should have pupils and irises.

Delighted that Black Panther will be part of Phase 3

Honestly they need to make another cut of all his scenes in Avengers and GotG and redo the CGI with black eyes or black with faint white on black. It does completely ruin it. I mean they might as well put 2 freaking HUGE ASSED rainbows in each eye. Such n00b amateurs over at Marvel. Fix that shit MARVEL! How the hell did someone/anyone not say WTF along the way in the early production stages!

Iron Man 55. I was watching the bonus features disc of The Avengers today and I can't remember but I did remember RDJ or someone claiming they sat and read like all the Iron mans for like 2-3 years or maybe 6 months straight. You know...bullshit. The Iron man costumes were great, but they screwed over Thanos. I doubt they have even read anything with Thanos or looked at many covers etc.

Wrong. They purposely made Thanos eyes different, to think they didn't look at any Thanos comics or covers or that they know nothing of the character is ridiculous.

New Report Indicates that the Russo Bros. Will Helm Avengers: Infinity War

Quote:
A lot of sites are trying to get into the scoop game, and while some are more reliable than others, the trades remain the most reliable source of information before we get an official press release. A little while ago, it was mentioned that Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War directors Joe and Anthony Russo were in talks to possibly helm the third Avengers movie (this was before it the two-part Avengers: Infinity War was announced). This information came from the same site that said James Gunn had landed the job, so it was taken with a pinch of salt. However, Deadline have now weighed in on the matter and reveal that, "The Russo are building up their Marvel cred with this all-star outing, and I keep hearing they will step up to the ultimate Marvel all-star team and take the reins of The Avengers franchise from Joss Whedon, possibly with that next film that will shoot back to back."

So, what does this mean for Joss Whedon? Does he simply want to take a break after The Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron or is he moving on from the Marvel Cinematic Universe? The Russo brothers are a great replacement, but losing him will be hard to get over! In other news, the site also mention that they expect Sebastian Stan, Samuel L. Jackson and Scarlett Johansson to return for Captain America: Civil War.
I hope Whedon at least scripts both Infinity War films. But the Russos taking over as directors, if true, is fine by me.

The real question is: Who will be the most bad-ass villain? Thanos, Apocalypse, or Darkseid?

A lot to look forward to in the years ahead.

I really do hope Whedon scripts, but I'm definitely ok with the Russo Bros. taking over for him as directors. I think they're exactly the kind of guys the series will need going forward if Whedon decides to let go of the reins.

They are basing these stories on major elements from the books... Read Captain America: The Winter Soldier and was blown away about how much source was used... So guess what?? I picked up Infinity Gauntlet and Civil War also just to familiarize myself with the material.

Today, I bought The Death of Captain America because I believe the next Cap film will borrow elements from both it AND Civil War. If they do, I'm fine with it; it's great stuff.
[Show spoiler]Bucky takes up Cap's shield and becomes the new CA.

Darkseid may win. DC will stick to the look, voice, and character.
With Thanos, Marvel got his exact look but Im afraid they are going to shortchange him and not develop him enough - Thanos should get as much screentime and development as Loki did.
Apocy is in the hands of Singer who loves to not match comic book looks - so he'll probably be nicely developed but Im guessing he'll look different from comic book version

I'm looking forward to the next X-men(somewhat)but knowing how Fox and Singer have made the franchise a bit grounded, I'm not expecting much of Apocalypse when it comes to crazy wow factor. I've already dropped my expectations to rock bottom when it comes to his visual design since I know they will probably change it too much. I wouldn't be surprised if they stuck with the twink from the DoFP end credits scene.

Fox won't do Apocalypse justice so it'll either be Thanos or Darkseid.

Russo Bros. Will Direct INFINITY WAR
Quote:
The real juicy stuff are from the discussions between Sony Entertainment Chairman Amy Pascal and the Captain America: The Winter Soldier directors Anthony and Joe Russo that took place last month. The Russo brothers begin their email to Pascal with, "A pity that negotiations with Marvel did not work." They're referring to the proposed deal with Marvel Studios that would have brought Spider-Man into the Marvel cinematic universe by giving him a cameo in Captain America: Civil War. They then let Pascal know that they will be directing Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Part 2, but that obligation won't prevent them from directing The Gray Man beforehand for Sony.
Maybe official enough to say it's official?

I'm glad the Russo Bros. will direct both CAPTAIN AMERICA: Civil War and AVENGERS: Infinity War Parts I & II. I'm hoping for Phase Four they'll be directing a HULK film.
Can't wait for this film and all the lead-ins for the hunt for the Infinity Gems/Stones.
