Thanks Grubert. Some very interesting information in there. The projection of Blu-ray overtaking DVD in 2012 is very exciting. It's also amazing how high the year-on-year increases are for the video game market. It seems likely Hollywood is going to continue branching into more "interactive" entertainment concepts as time goes on, trying to cash in on that market.

Not at all. Many PS3 owners either received a BD movie in the box with their system or were able to take advantage of the 5 free movie offer back when it was in effect. The stat of how many PS3 owners have actually purchased a Blu-ray disc movie would be quite a bit lower.
