He is turnover prone. The only saving grace here, is he's only started 27 games, so there isn't a very large sample size. Was last season's historic numbers a fluke? Is this season a fluke? Only time will tell.
Just like time has told us, running QBs are not going to win nearly as many championships as traditional pocket passers. That's a fact. Which was my original point, when someone stated Newton doesn't have enough weapons, and I used the Eagles as a direct example. Newton has plenty of weapons, he just doesn't utilize them as well as he could. Just look at Steve Smith being reborn in Baltimore. Coincidence? I don't think so. Smith has an above average passer throwing him the ball.
I'll shelve this line of conversation until several running QBs have won multiple championships, solely on their running. Which just ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

& just cause this usually comes -- if broncos & pats each win their divisions the pats are in denver next yr for a change.

Yeah, the Pats will be at the AFC West same place finisher the next 2 years, and then in 2017 the Pats play in Denver, so they could conceivably play in Denver 3 straight years. By that point there's a good chance both Brady and Manning are out of the league.

Upset? Both teams are 3-5, it's in Minnesota and Redskins are 1-3 on the road...
