This thing is broken!! My nephew had the oracles save point yet it took us to Atheon. My guy has Atheon cp but shouldnt the party leaders checkpoint take priority??

What a difference a decent auto rifle makes in crucible. Using my fully upgraded Shadow Price, it only took me a couple hours of crucible to get the 10K points needed to finish-out the Bad Ju-Ju exotic bounty. I was actually getting fairly consistent >1 K/D every match, which for me was pretty good. Too bad BJ-J is such a bad weapon. It looks cool, but like everyone else has said, the green vapor at the barrel really inhibits the sight picture. I'll keep it for now in hopes they implement a trade system down the road.

A big thanks to Jon and Ray for helping me get through the nightfall and weekly heroic on Friday night. If anyone else still needs to complete these, hit me up. My Titan still needs to go through them.

I was wondering the same thing. I know you could get some easy XP at the loot cave by just hanging out shooting in the general direction of the cave. But what happens if I just sat at the start of a level 20 strike/story mission while a willing fire team kills the enemies and completes it? I know you could do it in Borderlands but that is a completely different game. I have been thinking about creating a my final character (Titan) and leveling him by this method.

I do know that there is a down side to quick leveling a character though. My Wizard is a level 23 and I don't have access to all of Venus or any of Mars.

Yep, as long as you are able. I've taken Jose through a couple harder level story missions and strikes in order to help speed his alt. Also make sure you do all of the bounties available every day. They pay big XP when you're trying to speed-level.

On Saturday, I was level 13 around 11AM. By 430PM, I was 20. Just do missions on Hard with help and as many bounties as you can get your paws on.

I can't get any shards to save my @$$.......every daily event and every daily/weekly missions have been giving me energy the last week and a half!!

so I've decided to do strikes and buy legendary armor and just break it down.

not the most efficient way to do things.....but it keeps me moving forward I guess.

hoping to be above level 28 this week sometime and pop my cherry on the raid this coming weekend.

I never did the raid. Ide like to know as well. I have a level 28 player. That's about half way to level 29.

If you've never run the Vault of Glass, I'd recommend doing some homework on YouTube to find the best approaches to each stage. You "could" just wing it and muddle through, but all of the hard research has already been done, and you'd just be reinventing the wheel.

A good team can run the Vault of Glass in an hour. An inexperienced team could be there all day and never make it past the Templar.

Benny, Grim, Rike and your buddy, I'd love to lead you guys into the vault for your first time! Lets plan a day and time. Maybe if one more vet wants to join up, too? Heck, I'd take five rookies in provided we have a couple hours time for it.

Im glad Ill hit L30 just as Call of Duty drops, I got a feeling that the player base is gonna drop hard this week!

I don't get what the big deal is about taking the relic? Why are people so afraid of it?

Well on hard mode 29s get one shot by the Minotaur so you need a good team of behind you to get his shield down quick.

Nah! I fell asleep and took a nap right after we got off, guess I was still hungover lol. Then took the kids to the park and did some shopping. When I came back I was going to try using the checkpoint we saved on my nephew but it didn't work and took us to Atheon even though he hasn't done Atheon this week.

Might give it a go tonight but I have a feeling everyone will be on CoD AW.

So last night I stock up on 5 of the 5k bounties and equip my backup backup armor that needs leveling up, use my up hand cannon telemetry and bam!!! cash in my chips!!

of course I forgot to equip my Truth and Fatebringer which is what I was actually grinding up lol
