Nice link, I install cabinets for a living. You can use stock cabinets and usually come out a lot cheaper than if you bought an entertainment center. Not to mention it's usually a lot stronger and custom fit to your specs. To build a stand out of base cabinets you can get by with a drill and skill saw. But if you have access to a portable table saw and miter saw it makes the job a lot easier and quicker. Of course a level comes in handy also.
