To be fair, this film has no real similarities to "The Happening" (to begin with, "Knowing" is a sci-fi-thriller while "The Happening" is horror-sci-fi).

I didn't see much horror in The Happening...

... Uh, regardless of what you think about the quality of the film itself, the storyline and some of the content in "The Happening" is most certainly horror mixed along with a bit of sci-fi.

Again, "Knowing," however, is purely a sci-fi-thriller (i.e. meant to thrill, not really scare).

No, I'm just saying. I can't go outside anymore after seeing that movie.
