Oh, in a perfect world. Coach is intolerable on New Girl. I stopped watching altogether.

AMC has renewed its oater “Hell on Wheels” for a fifth and final season, to play out over two years.

The Endemol Studios drama has a 14-episode pickup to be be split over seven-episode runs in summer 2015 and summer 2016.

“Hell on Wheels” has been a lower-profile series for AMC during its run but the drama set against the backdrop of the railroad building boom of the late 1800s has been a workhorse for the cabler on Saturday nights.

So glad to hear this! Sorry to see it end, but glad it's not being cancelled.

ABC announced they will not be ordering any additional episodes of Selfie past the initial 13-episode order. It's not a surprise. It's ratings were poor and it is a terrible lead-in for Agents of SHIELD. They also picked up Forever for a full season.

Looks Karen Gillan's run in the US went as well as David Tennant's did (I get she was in Guardians of the Galaxy but how many people actually remembered her role?).

Also, did a show about selfies really need to exist?

I really like Karen. The premise for the show was just terrible and all the promos for it only made it look more awkward.

You can blame South Park and The Sopranos for that.

Haha! Seems that way.
I guess I'm kind of torn on it. I like it from the TV viewing experience as it prolongs the show...but I dislike having to buy 2 releases for what amounts to, basically, one season.(Breaking Bad & Mad Men)
Oh well, it is what it is I suppose!

Exactly. ABC screwed me over twice when they cancelled Happy Endings! They took away a show I loved and ruined one that I enjoyed.

Great news on both shows!
I thought The Affair was supposed to be a mini-series. It's already moving at a snails pace, how are they going to add 10 more episodes??

I thought The Affair had dreadful ratings. But then again, that has stopped HBO from giving Girls four seasons to find an audience.

In cable news, USA has renewed Graceland for a 13-episode third season and TNT has cancelled Franklin and Bash after four seasons.

It's overnight ratings aren't good, but premium networks care about re-airs and viewings through on demand, Showtime anytime and time shifting. So apparently The Affairs numbers through those means helped it come back.
