The show was picked up for a 22 episode first season with the finale on May 13th. We just had episode 17 on Thursday so there are 5 more episodes.

I don't know, my DVD recorder is picky, I set it though, not sure why it didn't work. At least it'll be on blu-ray before long and then I can watch the entire season in one go.

You probably have 2 other timers at the same time, and your priority just isn't high enough for the show, so change around your priorities and this should record without issue. The show probably won't be out on disc till right before the 2nd season premieres which my guess would be October.

You guys think Anna will turn Jeremy? I think it's about time Jeremy got in on the whole vampire thing.

Next week's episode looks really good. Lots of vampire action and torture from what I've seen.

Doubt it, with all the supernatural elements in her life, Elena needs human elements and Jeremy's part of that.

That part actually pissed me off, no she won't turn him, but the moment he asked I was like great this just turned into Twilight......The insecure teenager wants their other half to turn them. Great. That would be a terrible storyline, Jeremy just needs a better storyline than the one he's involved in, but come on if your moody and brooding now, you think it'll be fun after 400 more years? He'd end up like Angel, lol.

I guess. He needs a better story though, his story hasn't been good since Vicky left.

He should be a vampire hunter then. Find out Damon is a vampire and hunt him down or atleast die trying lol, give the character something. . .

Yeah lol, he teams with Alaric to totally suck at Vampire Hunting, haha. Alaric was really bad, he should share his knowledge with Jeremy. Vicki was so fine, why the hell they killed her, I'll never know.

Jeremy is the closes thing to an essential character outside of the big 3, I doubt he'd die but that's what surprise endings are all about.

Elena is safe, the vampire brothers would have no reason to stay in Mystic Falls without her. Well Stefan wouldn't, so I doubt they'd kill her because then they'd have to build more sets.
