I DVR'd it, probably won't get to watch it until Sunday or Monday. My wife was wanting to see it pretty badly. I don't even know anything about it. I wish they would bring Buffy back!!!!

I like nudity and gore with my vampires. Broadcast TV can not provide that.

well-
I had a killer migraine last night so I didn't feel like popping a movie in. The wife put Vampire Diaries on by default, and we sorta watched it.

I say "sorta" because again, I was in massive headache pain...but also she could care less about the show. There was nothing engaging about it, no reason to care about any of the characters. The vampire moments didn't really come until the 2nd half hr...and they were pretty ehhh at best!

I don't plan on investing anymore time on it! But just my 2 cents!!!

Young vampire - highschool - Beverly Hills soap opera type story - young girl survive accident - young girl remind's vampire of long lost love - vampire walk's around in day light.......

Should I go on? I won't bother checking out more of it

Think of it this way, bunch of highschool kids, each one a super top model, a 100+ old teen vampire, a long lost love, parties, drinking, drugs, a evil brother vampire....

Something we've seen 1000 before and done in a better way. I won't bother with it anymore.

It's awful. I started watching it waiting for the Supernatural premiere, and it was so unoriginal and uninteresting I had to change the channel and watch good old All in the Family instead.

It isn't good when the opening scene is something we've seen countless times before already in film, and then what's even worse is the effects are choppy. The vampire jumps off a rooftop and it looks like the effect was made 15 years ago. Not a good start.

I mostly want it to fail and go away because the last thing we need is another group of fans of a vampire-related franchise out for blood...so to speak
