Have they re-casted since upfronts...I remember Knighton but I don't remember anybody else. I only remember this show because of his couch singing, lol and Damon Jr looks exactly like his old man, lol.

As soon as I started watching the first few seconds I remembered the couch scene, but I really do not remember Eliza or Damon.

She was just as funny back then.

I didn't realize she got another pilot. Great for her. She did a whole HBO mini-series and they didn't even air it.

Oh I did.

I'll have to dig up the old photos. It sucked because I stepped on a drinking glass the morning of and sliced an artery in my foot. The doctor told me to stay home but I said I had a date, rented a tux etc. He asked if she was hot, I said most definitely. He replied, I would go to prom then. So I went swollen and bleeding, but still had a good time.

We were more friends than anything else since she lived across the street. We were in a lot of school plays together. I would be her father one year, and then her nephew the next. Good times, good times.

Sounds like one town over from me, they're all their own grandpa's and uncle daddies and cousin brothers. Country life.

I couldn't get into this show...but I wish I could take the girls from this show and replace the girls on Girls. The girls from this and the guys from Girls would make an incredible show. If that makes sense.

Watched the premiere of Season 3 tonight with a friend. She hasn't seen Season 3 yet. She could not understand how this show was cancelled. I thought I could move on, but watching it again I can't

. Had this been an NBC show it still would have been on. They stick with beloved cult shows.

And why the f*ck isn't this on Netflix Instant? Would love to see it on there.

Anyway, if you haven't seen this absolute gem you can buy the first two seasons pretty darn cheap from Amazon or elsewhere. Also you can buy Season 3 from Amazon as of last week. It's available manufactured-on-demand.

Seriously? Manufactured-on-demand? Ugghhh.... They couldn't dignify the final season with a proper DVD release? So disappointing.

This happened to Season 3 to 5 for the New Adventures of Old Christine.
It has a "cheaper" look to it YET it's way more expensive! I lucked out and got seasons 2 + 3 for $13 on eBay! Season 4 & 5 are almost $40 a piece and its MOD.

I'm not a BIG hater on MOD because at least we get it, but hell, the prices are ridiculous for being just burned DVDs with poor artwork.

Yeah, I never got to finish that show because of it. I'm not paying that much for MOD discs. This wouldn't be a huge deal if they charged less for them but the prices are usually ridiculous.

I hope one day we'll get a "Complete Series" set in stores.
