I've already got the R3 superbit, why do I need another one?

Besides, I don't keep them all for sentimental reasons. I don't have any Blu-ray versions of Dawn of the Dead or Grindhouse, the Pearl Harbor DC isn't available on Blu-ray and the Superbit Deluxe of BHD comes with the soundtrack CD and all of the extras which are missing from the UK/US Blu-ray. The Oz package also comes with some nice reproduction swag.

Ive still got a quite a lot of DVDs but all for a reason - they are either not on blu or I don't want to own them on blu. Got rid of most of my DVDs though.

Ebay were doing the South African one (exactly the same as the Australian one) for silly prices last year, picked one up for my brother - think I paid less than £5.

1- Escape from New York is a masterpiece.
2- Escape from L.A. is a masterpiece.
3- I love Snake.
4- I want 2k/4k transfers for both.

Just read one of their answers to a fan on Facebook and they don't even know if they can or will do a new transfer...

So basically this release is just for people who love extras over the actual movies? If they don't do a new transfer that is.

Most Scream releases are about the extras, they can't do many of their own masters. The existing BD of Escape from New York looks quite good anyway.

If they do Escape from L.A. someday though I do hope they can get the picture quality improved a bit.
