Still, I enjoy the games so I've already pre-ordered my copy. There's no other games quiet like them. MGSV is probably the closest if you traded Assassin with Mercenary and swords with guns. However, like Unity, MGSV lacks a solid story. Makes me sad that all these game studios are trying to cash in on multiplayer and dragging down the single-player aspect.
yeah, Rogue is really glitchy for me when it comes to the audio for some reason.

that's why i was so surprised, i had heard it was pretty much superior to Unity in that regards.

Why would it matter anyways? Between playing Destiny and playing Destiny, all you really have time for is playing Destiny...

i know.

once i get the new trophies.....i think i'll be moving on. my main character is finally ready for the raid.

the other 2 i'm only taking far enough to get their new element abilities (for the trophies) and that's it.

i'm not getting all 3 raid ready again.

That happens in PS3's version of Fallout 3 but mostly with the shopping carts, which the player hits, and silence, then a second later you might hear the sound of the shopping cart being hit. The 360 version didn't do that thankfully.

But yeah, hopefully they have all the major bugs worked out so the level of immersion isn't broken through weird glitches.

I decided to Pre-order this one. I really like the setting. Over time I've gone away from AC, but the setting for Syndicate is too good to pass up.

Plus I wanted something to do while I wait for Fallout 4 and Battlefront.

I've had it preordered since it was announced. But, Destiny has regained, against my better judgement, control of my gaming life. So, AC:S can sit on my shelf until the big patch is release. But I agree, I like the idea of the period and setting.

Im playing Rogue now and it has some bad clipping problems. Nothing game breaking but it does get distracting

With the PS4 being lead platform on this, i'm hoping that it has visual improvements over the xBone version. I was disappointed with AC: Unity being nerfed to 900p for frickin' parity on the xBone i rebought the game a few months later on PC and cranked up the details to the max. The PS4 is capable of doing so much more, as the likes of Batman Arkham Knight has proven!

I'll be picking this up, but I hope the controls are a little more refined than Unity. Because Unity's controls were so terrible, I had trouble just walking and/or running through doorways. Really made it hard to enjoy the game.

The movement controls are okay (and actually sharper on pc with a 360 USB controller) but it's still the combat controls i'm ambivalent about. Unity made some improvements, but also some serious errors. Hmmn.

Saw an unboxing. Back of case shows 50GB minimum so you just saved yourself some space.

I'd say the controls on Unity were about the same as black flag, so I doubt it will control much better

I feel like these games lost their way after ac2 and it's direct spin offs.

There was originally going to be a complete over arching storyline that seems to have gotten completely rewritten and ballsed up and now nothing in the present day makes any sense and seems to be pointless to the game.

I loved the present day stuff in the first couple games, it felt like it was leading somewhere with that crazy adam and eve escaping some strange place. Then it never mentioned it again.

What was all that writing in Desmond cell at the end of ac1 hinting at feudal Japan etc.

It had so much potential and now is completely watered down and might as well just be all set in the past.

I always thought hte present day stuff was by far the weakest part of the series and the decreased emphasis on them in recent games has been for the best. With Desmond's arc done it really makes no sense that we still even have the present day stuff as it hasnt meany anything since AC 3. Who cares about being some random Abstergo employee that goes around the office solving puzzles? They really should have dropped it completely since there really was no story to be found here
