I figured TVA was so quick to apprehend and take judgement on Loki without little consideration is because of them following

Because 2012 Loki really is innocent only in violation of creating a branch when escaping.

[Show spoiler]Yes but they would know what his path would be. Which is why Mobius kept asking him, if he liked the things he was doing. As seen in the video a loose variant is a danger to the entire time line. He could potential make multiple branches. Nothing would stop him from trying to get revenge on the Avengers. He could have interfered in the events of multiple movies.

De-aging technology still requires that actor to commit to a role for multiple decades. While we will see actors sign on to 5+ pictures, a good portion of that is bit roles (SLJ, Brie, etc) in other movies. With the potential of superseding other roles (a la RDJ in Sherlock Holmes),it's just more practical to use different actors.

Marvel is going to run itself down the rabbit hole with the Multiverse angle.
Just like all those lousy CW superheroes...
The best thing about Marvel so far is continuity....actions have consequences and lead to other situations...now, just throw it all away for the sake of churning out product.

I must admit that I'm not happy with the way Marvel is going post Far From Home. The 3 new series we've had so far have all messed around with established continuity and canon. Sure there's been errors before, but it seems we're in a point where they're just not caring about things, and messing with continuity as they see fit.
Considering that we have a Multiverse Dr Strange movie iminent, as well the next Spider-Man film supposedly being a SpiderVerse movie in it's own right, i'm not sure what Loki is trying to do regarding it's stance on alternate realities. I'm beginning to wonder if this show is going to perhaps be used in a Crisis on Infinite Earths type of way to try and tie up some inconsistencies and establish new rules along the way.
But overall I'm not keen on the overall direction in place.

What evidence of ANY lazy, trash writing involving the multiverse or alternate timelines? Since it's so new, literally nothing has happened yet with the exception of the time heist in Endgame.

But sure, lazy writing when all we saw was the first 55 minutes of a TV season.

Anyone remember the hate Wanda Vision, or Falcon and Winter soldier got because all the questions weren't answered by the end of Episode 2? I do.

Anyone do the research as to what came first, Umbrella Academy or TVA in the comics? (The TVA predates the Umbrella academy, according to their respective Wikis)

Just pointing out that Marvel is usually very smart....lately they are becoming not so much...It doesnt matter what happened first in the comics...TVA or Commission.
It matters what happens on all these screens....marvel should know better than to blunder like this.
Loki might turn out to be quite good, but....WandaVisions "solution" was lazy, trash writing akin to "the dog ate my homework"

Not a fan of Doctor Strange....back in the 60's when I was the only kid in my small town that read and collected comics. I knew that magic was BS.
So, I collected all of Marvel (and some DC) except for Dr Strange....solving problems with magic was lazy trash writing then too.
If Marvel wants to go the Multiverse route....let them. It just ruins everything they've done so far.
