Yes they accept PayPal. The majority of my orders are placed with Diabolik. They are a great company. You might pay a little more but you'll never have to worry about your orders arriving damaged in cheap flimsy bubble mailers.

Yeah, I order pretty much all of my 4Ks from BB, but I’m not taking any chances with this one: I want it as early as possible and in pristine condition, so you better believe I smashed that MFing preorder button over at Diabolik.

You have a Euro horror like Possession with a reference release and they haven't sold out of the 3,000 copies in how many years? Even the cheaper DVD sets that have been out over a decade haven't sold 3,000 copies.

Bought the steelbook. Love the steelbook. Keeping the steelbook.

And I don't know (care) about the rest of you; but I'm buying the sh!t outta this 4k release.

edit: and pre-ordered!

It all works out because the standard feature BD isn't included so no redundant discs.

Just put in a preorder for $29.97 shipped at Bull Moose. I doubt there will be a better price that comes along. It should arrive in great shape as well. My last few single movie orders from BM have been packed in a box.

Edit: Ninjaed by MeatballSub with the BM price.

It you check Bullmoose they carry the synapse blu and bestbuy doesn’t so it’s wait and see for the 4k. But it’s their first 4k so they may want it in as much stores for sales numbers.

Oooh that's not bad. Probably won't preorder though as Hannibal dropped by a good few quid just after release, I know this is Synapse and not Kino but even so, I'll wait and see.

I'm shocked this is even happening in the first place, and I really am not surprised this has an SRP of $60. This cost Synapse a fortune to restore (didn't it take them like 4 years?) and it was licensed so of course it's gonna have a higher price point than major studios releasing UHDs of films they own outright. They don't have to pay any licensing fees. They're also an independent label making their first foray into the UHD market. I adore this film, I'll happily pick up this UHD DAY ONE.

I think we've been so lucky as horror fans and I couldn't be happier that I decided to make the jump to 4K last fall. Who knew that within a year or so we'd get 4K releases of Halloween, Christine, EFNY, Prince of Darkness, The Fog, They Live, Evil Dead 1 & 2, Hannibal, Don't Look Now, upcoming releases of Gremlins and The Shining and now Suspiria gets announced.

Suspiria. in native 2160p UHD with HDR.

What a time to be alive.

~Matt

I got a Best Buy/Deep Discoumt type cardboard sandwich the two times I have ordered from them. Not great but better than mailing a movie in a padded bodybag like Amazon does.

Pretty frustrating morning after I placed my first ever order with DiabolikDVD. It looked like this was not going to be cheaper anywhere else after seeing it $60 on Amazon and $45 on Synapse's own site, then a hour after I order it was apparently posted its only $30 on Bullmoose.

Wondering why anybody would order from DiabolikDVD when I see they not only do not allow cancellations of pre-orders, but do not even honor price drops if they occur after your order is placed!

Sorry for venting, but I see this store thrown around a lot on these forums and I really don't understand why. Higher prices than other stores, unable to cancel, and don't honor price drops before release. Doesn't seem worth it to me even if they pack things well.
