Excellent! I haven’t picked up any of the Blus. If tiny companies like Synapse and Discotek can do UHDs then labels like Arrow, Criterion, and Shout have no more excuses.

Man, I’m just over the moon with this news. This is my favorite film of all time, and I waited years for an HD release of any kind, and now there are suddenly so many options! Hopefully this one is definitive.

I have yet to pick this film up, but really want to and I haven’t upgraded to 4K yet. I REALLY wish this was coming with a standard Blu-ray so I can future proof myself. Now I’ll have to purchase the film twice.

Suspiria in HDR, bruddy marvellous! Without wanting to get into the whole tiresome debate about the duelling restorations yet again (though Torsten Kaiser has likely spontaneously burst into flames at this news, such is his distaste for HDR) something that annoys me with the Synapse is how nuked the highlights are. That's not just me with my HDR hat on saying that, it really does look so 'hot' and overblown like SDR used to do years ago and it feels very 'video-y', so if the HDR pass can keep the brightness and resolve the range betterer then it could be a stunner.

I called it years ago.

I knew this would eventually happen.

It would be hard to go thru all that work and not eventually get that 4K transfer out on 4K disc.

So thrilled.

I didn’t even read what the disc entailed. I saw Suspiria + UHD + Synapse and I pre-ordered right away.

HDR and Atmos are a huge plus.

yeh not really that surprised aboout 4k & HDR but wasn't expecting Atmos so happy days n all that

think colours are going to benefit with HDR as some were slightly overcooked on BD

Preordered hopefully if this sells well we get Phenomena and Tenebrae which Synaspse already put out beautiful Blu’s.
