Anyone ever get a second confirmation email from Deep Discount? I HAD to order some of those priced cut $3.99 Blu-rays. So I got a confirmation about an hour ago. Then I got a second confirmation email with all the lettering changed to be green colored. No idea why as that’s never happened with Deep Discount from me before. It was not a cancellation email or anything. Jus the exact same one in green. Weird.

Anyway, hopefully not too many more surprises from DD on my recent orders. Otherwise I’ll just have to enjoy my DVDs in place of Blu-rays and Superman TV episodes in place of boutique stuff

They have an import of Bertolucci’s Before the Revolution for dirt cheap. Oddly the cover is all in English, unlike the pictures on this site.

I noticed that too. Seems the DD BD is a different pressing since it has a different UPC (8054633707029) than the similar Italian release (8054633702086) currently in the database. Using the UPC from DD, I see the pressing with English text on the case here at Amazon Italy. I'll submit it to the site's database now.

You have to manually type the code for DVDs to display from the database. So use "[DVD]" instead of "[BD]".

I guess selling out of items is DeepDiscount's blindspot as I rarely have any issues with them. They canceled my second Suspiria order. And they canceled Ned Kelly from another order, but when I saw it was still available I ordered it again and that one shipped. I wouldn't have ordered these if they weren't such good deals, so if both were gone I wouldn't have been that disappointed. Kind of expected with "last chance" offers. I also looked at the reorders as a way to get me to the free shipping minimum, and if they cancel the item it still played a valuable role.

I had something similar happen with The Gambler. It was canceled from my first order, it reappeared briefly. I ordered it and it is shipping now.

came across this deal in case it hasn't already been mentioned - The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard 4k (Canadian version) for $3.99 if you don't mind a little French words on the cover. I was able to use DEEP10 to get 10% off which I think is usually for when you first sign up for their emails/texts but maybe it reset recently (also preordered Species 4K to bring that to about $26)

I haven’t ordered from Deep Discount for A LONG time, but placed some orders during the MegaLodon coupon. My first one is already here, but I was just surprised I had to sign for it.

Never had to sign for a package from DD.

Was it a really expensive package, some unique collectible, or have you had a lost/stolen package that had to be replaced? I know I've done at least one $200 order and many $100+ orders in the past.

I've averaged one order a week from DD for a couple years now and have never had to sign for anything. It could depend upon a specific item you ordered, or your delivery carrier was being overzealous. All mine know I'm fine with them leaving packages, though a sub this week had me sign for a package.

It was fairly expensive. Over $200 anyway. I never had a package stolen that was from Deep Discount/UPS and never had a package stolen at all from my current address.

Also, oddly enough I checked my orders and the package and it was actually the second order I placed with Deep Discount that arrived. The first one which was cheaper isn’t due to be delivered until Tuesday.
