He actually retweeted Dawn of the Discs' tweet and made light of it using his art, lmao.

WB is only distributing, as they did with the Rocky set, also MGM and with Dolby Vision.

Also I'm looking into a crystal ball and predicting generic, tasteless artwork.
As said, MGM use Dobly Vision on the (admittedly very very few) UHDs that have gone directly thru their distributor. The first four Craig Bonds were done in DV by Fox, back when Fox were highly allergic to it, the six Rockys under Warners and then The Terminator. As long as the other Bonds actually have HDR grades - have such transfers appeared on streaming or digital or are they still 4K SDR? - then they'll have DV on disc.

Good to hear. As far as I know the Bond 4K streaming versions that are currently available are the same ones that have been around for a while now.
Maybe someone here can confirm this, I don't do streaming.

Yeah even if it were the actual art that drink and cig would be gone long before final approval. Heck, probably even the Walther. And any hint of a woman for that matter, lest he come off as some sort of Weinstein creep. This is the studio that wouldn't let Farrell smoke as the Penguin. Smoking, drinking and womanizing Bond BAD!

At this point I'll settle for Connery's likeness, period, considering that Lethal Weapon apparently now stars a smiley-face target man....

Liked that art, but wondered about its officiality since I'd wager that cigarette won't appear in any final art LOL

All streaming versions are SDR, stemming from the 4K restorations (as new safety prints I believe) that were, many years ago, restored as such, but the consumer versions were scanned years prior to any thought of a viable consumer 4K format. In other words, the WCG portion of HDR was considered unnecessary when those scans were prepared for distribution, and so the current scans lack HDR. This can be seen with a wide number of MGM releases that have or had been released in SDR only (i.e. MGM has preexisting 4K restoration work, prints from that, but the scans (SDR) already done of those, and they have been notoriously lazy about doing an updated scan beyond UHD resolution (see also Great Escape, In the Heat of the Night and many others)).

If the streaming versions get updated, that might be an indicator of what's to come, but again as of today no update. IF they get updated, it may not be until release day or much later (perhaps even weeks after the physical release day).

Thanks! I did begin to wonder whether they were all SDR when writing that.

But WCG is not a prerequisite for HDR grading, never has been. It's more that MGM did those older 4K catalogue masterings you mention in straight SDR and didn't think to preserve the raw scans and whatnot, meaning that HDR has to basically be forced upon the existing masters. The Dollars trilogy is an outlier as Ritrovata did the scans and the rights holders seemingly kept them, meaning that Arrow can start over with those.

Yes, they did get sued. Exactly! If they're using the word "Complete", NSNA should be included.
Some people will jump all over the "but it's not canon" but when has the word canon ever been used to title a physical media release for James Bond?

Long story short, NSNA should be included as a 4K disc, even as a bonus disc.
The 4K transfer already exists digitally. It should be there!

Okay, forget "canon". It wasn't made by EON and led to a very bitter and protracted legal battle so why would they want it alongside their own movies? As said before, I still don't see people crying out for the spoof Casino Royale to be included with the rest, and why not? It's a Bond movie after all. Yet no-one sued MGM for that one AFAIK.

But now that the family ties to EON have been severed once and for all then maybe they'll relent in future. Or perhaps Wilson and Broccoli left with a guarantee that NSNA would not be included with the movies they and their family made?

NSNA isn't an official Bond film in the official series. Might as well include Austin Powers, if you want to include NSNA.

The Taschen book, "The James Bond Archives" has an introduction by Wilson and Broccoli and has chapters on the 1967 Casino Royale and Never Say Never Again.

I certainly enjoy NSNA, even though it's basically a reworked "Thunderball". Always loved Barbara Carrera's turn as henchwoman Fatima Blush. An irresistibly sexy black widow. She was delectable and pray you didn't fall into her web for dinner.

Although my favorite "bad Bond girl" would always have to go to Caroline Munro.....Yummy

Right, but that's from Taschen themselves, not an official EON/MGM publication. Made in close conjunction with them, certainly, but still not made by them. It's something designed to encompass the history of Bond so including those two films is to be expected. But the home video versions aren't history books.
