You can define the exact price you want the customs label to say before you pay shipping and fees with Tenso.

I've noticed that Brits often feel they get a raw deal with customs fees and such, but they haven't tried the Danish system, with a much lower import limit and much higher fees

Similarly, Yes24 looks to have a bunch of stuff I'd love to order, and the prices are decent, but their global store isn't listing what I'm after, even thought the main store is.

Does anybody have any experience ordering from them?
i thought aladin was tricky too - still not used it, mostly due to only having courier as a delivery option - but after realising i needed a gmail account to register, and simply using google to translate korean to english, i could get all the way through the system.

i know someone who uses it as a main source for K discs, but i think he buys multiples so the restriction on delivery works out fine.

I agree. Haven't bought from YesAsia in ages. Their "Sales" are an absolute joke too. 😂

Unrelated, although there may be interest here:

I'm UK located looking for someone Japan-based to trade with.

I received my first order from DDDHouse. The movies were just wrapped in a couple of layers of bubble wrap and then covered with tissue paper. Is that normal for them?

Hello all. There are some D'ailly Company blus from Korea that I'd love to get my hands on! Any idea of a place that sells and ships them to the US?

Does anyone know if DDDHouse are still customs friendly to the UK?
I believe YesAsia no longer are

I noticed that kimchidvd alters the amount you requested on the package; I asked for an amount of $19.99 (this is below the import limit here in The Netherlands) but when I checked the the invoice info for this order in my account I noticed an amount of $25.99 which is just above the import limit

DDDHouse didn't have Brain on Fire, so I made me first order with Buyoyo a couple of weeks ago. I also ordered Hot Young Bloods for a much better price than DDDHouse wants. I asked Buyoyo to mark the value as $10, and they did

They (he?) were a little slow to ship it out and I was never able to find the tracking number, but I'll definitely go there next time DDDHouse for some reason isn't stocking something I want.

I have a few contacts in South Korea if you looking for help getting DVDs and Blu-rays. They are both on eBay: cyleon7 and wdpung. PM me if you want their e-mail.

Do you know any online store where I could find this HK boxset?: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-H...lu-ray/128631/

I can only find the 5-movie version on Ebay, and £90 is way out of my budget.
On Yesasia it's currently OOS unfortunately.

£70 + £16 fo the cheapest shipping option to the UK, so ~£86 if my math and conversions are correct.

Thanks, I wasn't even expecting to find Duck and Chicken Talk individually, that's perfect, I'll just take that one for £30. Thanks e_d!

I received my order and I strongly recommend their website! It took only 10 days to arrive in the UK, very well packed and with a nice word in the box.

Anyone have any experience ordering from JSDVD? I tried to place an order (twice now) and both times I was sent to an outside website asking me to create an account with TWV Openpay. This was after entering my credit card info on the previous page, so now I'm a little worried about a double charge. I never received a confirmation email, and when I log into my account under my orders, it says "you have not made any purchases." Any advice from someone who has successfully ordered from this site?

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't they take PayPal?

I did place an order with them through card (I forget if it was Openpay, I guess so) but they did ultimately refund me due to out of stock.

You can always dispute the charge/file a chargeback with your credit card company if double charged. Or email JSDVD.

Just note that (at least in my case) there's a 3% foreign transaction fee on the card from the bank.

I've used JSDVD for years with no issues. Yes, they have a different way of entering the credit card, but it's not a big deal.

Yeah, JSDVD have an odd payment system, but they are totally legit and I haven’t had any issues ordering through them ever.

Sadly not. Life would be so much simpler if they did.
