I love the concert blus...... I am hoping for one of the fray to come out....the best one I have gotten to watch so far is John Mayer where the light is.....he is an incredible guitarist.

I love concert DVDs and Blu-rays.....

I just have varying tastes... so much of my anticipated material comes from small studios etc

I just got:
Justin Timberlake - Futuresex/Loveshow = Awesome Show
AC/DC - Live at Donington = classic
Paramore - Final Riot! = Good show, ok BD.
Incubus - Alive at redrocks = Great all around
Led Zeppelin - Song Remains = classic

I am looking into getting Linkin Park's BD that comes out tuesday, but I have read that the quality of the recording was just terrible. Can anyone confirm this? I believe the name is Live at Milton Keynes.

Thanks

When it comes to Live Blu-ray, there are so many qualifying questions to that type of thing.

Is it the Video that sucks (but audio is good)
Does the Audio suck (bad mix, or bad performance)
both.

I'm on the fence about picking that one up... I will most likely wait for some more reports before buying.

Just an FYI avoid the new Rob Halford one at all costs unless you are a hardcord Halford fan. It's in 4:3 format and the video is terrible not even the sound can overcome its shortcomings in that department. UGH!

Seriously man...I'm in a place right now where The Hanging Gardens is one of my favorite songs of all time.

I grew up a Killing and Arab kid, but I think Gardens had a way bigger impact on me in the long run.

If you can catch this Blu-ray, I highly recommend it although those three shows were not necessarily exciting. Still excellent.

I would like to get some but the only one I may get is the Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds but I'd rather have a live Dave Matthews Band blu.

I just bought LZ's The Song Remains the Same. I haven't watched it straight through yet, but I had it on in the background and I was randomly selected tracks while I was working on a project last week, though. The sound is awesome for such old source.
