Default Best concert BD's?

I'm wanting to add a concert/music BD to my collection, and I noticed that a Queen live BD was released, and we highly recommended by HighDef digest. I was also considering the Incubus one as well, what would you guys recommend?

Depends on your taste. The Dave Matthews is excellent if you like his material, but for my money I'd go with The Last Waltz.

Has anyone found NIN at a store, or did you all order it? It seems like NIN and The Fly arent in any stores.

Maybe I'll finally get around to ordering them right now...Thanks for reminding me

Really? That's the last place I would have guessed. The Wal-Marts around here carry about 6 blu's total. It's the most pathetic blu ray section ive seen.

Some of the stores here suck as well, I found these 2 blu concerts mixed in with the regular music DVDs actually.. try that

I was pissed at the David Gilmour. No LFE to speak of on drums or bass guitar, not as detailed sounding as his last concert on SD and only 25% of it looked like HD because of the long zoomed shots trying to get through the constant bloody fake fog.

The Pat Metheny is the cleanest looking and very rich sound... but it's only an hour long. The Dave Matthews is 3 hours but it's only two acoustic guitars. No band. If I was to do a Demo for someone... out of the 4 concerts I own on BD... I'd play the Pat Metheny. It's the most impressive all way 'round.

Get Nine inch Nails. HMV actually has all the Concerts on Blu. They also have a decent deal, 2 blu rays for $50. This is amazing seeing how most new releases in Canada are like $30+

I currently have:

U2 Rattle & Hum
The Last Waltz
Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains The Same
David Gilmour - Remember That Night
Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds - Live At Radio City

(and my copy of Elton John - 60, should arrive from Amazon tomorrow)

Of the five I currently have, my David Gilmour BD gives me the most enjoyment. Followed by Dave & Tim - Radio City.

But ultimately, it depends on what you like.

I was searching for Song Remains the same. Then I read the review on the front page, now it doesnt seem so great.

But since it's rare, I'd probably still pick it up.

The original source film from the 70s wasn't the greatest looking footage to begin with. But it's classic Zeppelin, and it's the best looking version of this film you'll ever see. So, if you can track down a copy, I say buy it.

Maybe not great if comparing to the picture and sound of a recent concert, but this disc is great. Probably the best we are ever going to get of this film. Like the review says, if you at all enjoy Zeppelin, pick it up if given the opportunity.

I thought the John Legend BD was pretty good. Only 1080i, but PCM audio.

the one I'm looking most forward to is "Genesis: Live in Rome 2007"

Should be out in March. I just saw their reunion tour twice in Philly this past September, and loved it. This new video, was filmed in Rome, back in July, in front of about 500,000 people.
