I've felt compelled to watch every entry in the series in theaters as a big RE fan and have been forgiving of them for the most part, but the trailer for this one really isn't painting a good light on it. Makes me sad to think I'll have to pass, unless it gets good reviews by surprise.

I think the RE movies are better then what most people give them credit for. People can't seem to get over the fact that their not exact retellings of the games. I'm fine with them going in a different direction.

The movie looks fun. I see Paul is taking 3D to the ridiculous. I'm glad they seem to be moving away from the barren desert style of the last film. I'm not a fan of the Mad Max look. And Milla looks better now then she did 8 years ago.

it looked like a Matrix ripoff.

I liked the first 3 RE movies, but this doesn't look like it makes sense.

I mean I liked how 3 ended, and would so I get how there would be guards to fight but really? How about the fact that the premise is fighting zombies and mutant experiments?

Granted i've never played the games maybe this is like them. But I don't think so. I'll check it out on video, but why such a drastic change?

I liked the first film, but the rest have basically just been late-night/pass out to type films. Not much substance.

I will see this though because I wrell...I like movies.

I kind of wish they would start over somewhat and make a scarier/less characters movie that deals with more of the mansion instead of whats underneath.

Well at least they are using the same 3D cameras that were used to film Avatar which if a movie is going 3D it is the only way to go. I'm looking forward to this movie. I only watched the first 3 on disc so this will be a first for me.

Wesker in RE5 was a complete Matrix rip-off.

There's some speculation that the original Matrix movie ripped off anything from anime to books but honestly I don't keep up with that stuff because I frankly don't care

And I don't care if Wesker from RE5 and/or RE: Afterlife rips off the Matrix either. If it's entertaining, that's all I care about

What a disappointment. I forgot the movie even had zombies by the end of the trailer. Well, hopefully we at least manage to get a decent shallow popcorn flick out of this.
