You and me both, I've worked with them and it is like bashing your head against a brick wall to try and get one part to leverage a different unit's assets.

SCE actually wanted to do a general auction for the movie rights to Uncharted before external consultants and Sir Howards told them to stop being stupid...

2006/2008 comparison shot. Not a big difference really, the torches and proton pack light up the environment in the 2008 shot but that doesn't really demonstrate any major increase of work input.

Well, looks like I'll definitely be picking up the PS3 version! At least to begin with.

I am somewhat curious about the 'cartoony' version coming out for Wii and PS2. But, of course, I'm much more interested in the PS3/360 version (with the PS3 version tipping the scale due to this exclusive content that he speaks of).

Ghostbusters: The Videogame has had long, long road over the past year. At last, it's finally found itself a loving home, hopefully some proper marketing and even a release date. Yes, there is light at the end of that once-dark tunnel! Having played around with the third-person action title only a couple of times in the last 8 months, each time we can away more than impressed, which was good, considering it was supposed to have shipped last Fall. But when will you, the public, get to test out your proton pack (outside of a crowded, likely smelly convention hall)? It's no secret that a demo was to be unleashed onto the internets prior to release, but there's been no definite timeframe, until now. Soon. That's answer. Soon.

During our travels at the New York Comic-Con last weekend, we had the chance to interview Glenn Gamble, Senior Artist for Ghostbusters developer Terminal Reality, and it was revealed that Atari will release a demo for the title in June (the film's 25th anniversary) just shy of the official release of June 16th. No exact date was given at this time, but I'd say this is the type of demo you'd like to release, oh I don't know, during E3 in early June? You know, when Microsoft does their whole "Bringing It Home" thing on Xbox LIVE? If not then, soon after, as June 8th is the 25th anniversary - to the day. What better way to celebrate than with a demo? We'll keep you posted.
