how about we just all agree that at least 70% of all action or action-sci-fi flicks have unrealistic scenes in them?

Easy fix.

Put on your Ruby slip....er...um... your Saphhire Blue Slippers. Click your heels together 3 times, and repeat "There's no place like Pandora, There's no place like Pandora, There's no place like Pandora."

See? You have always had the power to return.

Also, my chickfriend (not gf) called me today and asked if she should buy the Blu-ray so she could come over and watch it...
A delightful surprise because my budget has been tight lately

A.30-06 x 180 grain travels at 2,900 FPS

Even if a Navi is 6 times stronger than a Human, he cant fire an arrow with the necessary force required to damage those Warships.
Who said they where bulletproof? It's a vehicle that doesn't exist, and they have had to spend a lot transporting it to pandora, maybe the cost of the bullet proof glass didn't exceed the cost.

Would you believe there is a thread for this topic on the Mythbusters site

One guy mentions this:

Quote:
The glass on the smaller helicopters was not bullet proof, in one scene we see bullets passing through it without much trouble at all.
I don't remember if that is correct or not....but if it is, then the glass on the smaller crafts was definitely not bullet proof, and the Na'vi's arrows (which would be a hell of a lot more than 420 grain) and have a much greater velocity (and not fighting gravity this time and also hitting at a better angle than the first time....and also from a much shorter distance) than a human's maximum shot velocity would have zero problem going through regular glass.

It wasn't as far as I know.

I watched Armageddon last night. I haven't seen this since the theaters!!! I remember liking it back then so i figured i'd pick it up on Blu. I REALLY enjoyed this movie. It wasn't the most realistic movie i've ever seen but it was fun and tugged at the heart strings! I recommend it if you like fun UNrealistic movies!

Your desire to believe is outweighing logic.
I've already given good enough reasons for it to actually be logical. I'll just leave it at that. You believe it couldn't have happened and I will believe it could have. Sound fair?

Watched Hot Fuzz
Movie 5/5
PQ 5/5
AQ 5/5
Overall 5/5

Wanna test you subwoofer????
Well to start of with the AQ the dialogue is clear and impressive but this disc is loaded with LFE from the beginning to end all it does is shake you HT.

The movie itself is funny and brilliant, full of comedy. And get sort of serious with a funny twist at the end. Hot Fuzz is a very good movie, with a excellent transfer. Must Own.

Disturbing Behavior - I have been wanting to watch since ever since it came out but it was always on the back burner. I thought it was pretty good. I kinda like those high school thriller/sci-fi/horror type films such as the Faculty, the Craft etc....so this fit in that same type of film. Nice concept and pretty spooky at times. Overall I would rate it 3.5/5 Got Em!!

Couldn't go back to sleep last night, and forgot my roommate left a rental copy of Twilight New Moon, which I have yet to watch til last night. Overrall, I thought that movie was pretty good. Really liked the 1st one and the 2nd one was not as much better but good enough to be considered chapter 2. I would probably give it a 8/10 rating. Note: Kristen Stewart is a young hootttiiiee!

I think the last one i watched was Let The Right One In. It was pretty good, I know it wasn't about the killing, but i would have liked to see some more killing. I am curious to see how the American version is going to be.
