Than in a few weeks it will be bumped to May 2022.

And at that point they are only hurting themselves.

Seriously. At some point everything will just have to go streaming.

Basically. As theaters will be a foregone memory. As studios are not willing to release anything.

If the delays continue, then yes. Studios mostly release movies within a specific window of time. We don't want to be watching a movie in 2027 that was made 7 years ago. And studios sure as heck don't want to hold onto their movies that long either. Eventually they'll run out of dates and will be forced to dump the movies they held out for onto streaming. That is of course if Covid continues beyond 2021.

I'm perfectly willing and ready to pay for PVOD releases as well, and with my local cinamas shut permanently already, I actually want new movies to go straight to streaming. I know that's selfish but hey, that's my situation.

Given the history and how long it took to get a part 3 I think delaying it is a good choice. This is not much longer than March and it might get delayed again but I’m just saying it deserves the best release it can get.

Not that I thought it might fail. I just want it to do well.

I'm just glad they completed filming it before the pandemic. Because no matter how long they delay it, Danny and Billy won't get any older.

I don't stand to gain or lose from its success/failure, so I just want it to be GOOD.

Ya but the more successful it is the more likely they’ll make more.

The Story of GB3 could be a documentary. Bill Murray’s refusal, supposed rights issues, an unknown number of scripts, a reboot blown entirely out of proportion and now delays because of a pandemic.

It’s like the hardest movie ever made.

So, it doesn't matter if it's good? All that matters is how much money it makes, so we'll get more installments? That's madness.

They should move all the movies to 2022 or 2023. That's it, guys. Trust me, it's getting bad.

All dates are placeholders, and are subject to shift and change at the discretion of the studio.

True enough, things aren't going to get better from here on out. Feel the same as another post said just want this to be good. Not a mess that's trying to be a cash grab or franchise starter. Just make one good film, worry about what to do next with it afterwards.

Come on you know what I meant.

How much it makes is still important.
