If your not after Alien from LA, which I like, and the slips are low btw, you can't go wrong with Nightbeast or Creature IMO. I enjoy the Battle For The Lost Planet set but it's super indie low budget stuff. Creature will give you higher production values and creepy space atmopshere, and better effects, but lacks the regional DIY charm of Nightbeast, which J.J. Abrams worked on at age 16. Creature also includes its alternate Titan Find cut, which I've yet to watch. But your getting 2 cuts.

USA Screen Archives Entertainment's Classicflix sale

I could swear Screen Archives' Classicflix sale was on until two weeks today (Friday, August 30th). Screen Archives posted on their Facebook page earlier that the sale ends at midnight tonight (US East Coast time, based on where Screen Archives are based (Virginia).

Well, I caved and bought a 3rd (though, I keep telling myself to reduce my blind spending ). Of the 5 titles I was considering before I asked for recommendations, y'all helped me narrow it down to Creature, Nightbeast & Journey to the West .

I only passed on Nightbeast because it is currently on Tubi and in-stock for comparable pricing on Alliance Entertainment sites w/code reductions--so there's no rush for me on that title--but you all sold me on at least checking it out. Creature has the 2 cuts and Wendy Schaal and Journey... is way more pricey on said sites/Amazon than VS's current sale price. The temptation of getting a better deal on the last title was too strong, so I splurged. I'm thankful that VS has flat-rate shipping.

Thanks to all for the input.

Thanks for this alert! The last time Orbit put INDICATOR titles on sale there turned out to be some excellent deals and I'm hoping for the same this time.

Anyone know if BFI's Region B blu-rays tend to work on Region A Panasonic players with the Top Menu trick?

Orbit Sale - https://www.orbitdvd.com/collections...off-sale-us-uk

30% applied at checkout starting at noon EST today.

I checked - didn't see a reduction yet though the sale page seems live. Assuming prices will be auto-deducted starting at noon.

Indicator/Powerhouse 30% OFF SALE (US & UK)
READ READ READ READ READ READ READ READ
The sale starts at NOON EST 8.22.24

HOW IT WORKS - We do not have enough product in stock. The movies will shipped to us after the sale ends. Since this is coming from both the US and UK this process might take a couple of weeks, BUT once the movies arrive we will fulfill your orders in a day or two.

The discount will be subtracted at checkout.

If you add anything else that is not part of the sale it will ship together.

You cannot combine pre-orders with sale items.

You cannot cancel or edit your order.

This sale DOES stack with our 3FREE free shipping for media mail.

We have been assured that no titles are in danger of going out of print, but in the unlikely event where that happens, we will fulfill orders from first ordered to last.

Honestly, the Orbit sale on Indicator is not the best. Most prices cheaper even on Amazon. I wanted to get a few titles, but not at these prices.

The discount gets applied after you add it to your cart. Just making sure you're aware.

No discount on THE WHISTLER set? I added it to the cart, but not seeing any change in price.

I know, but a bunch of these titles were $10 or so. The 4K titles I think were at $20 or so during the Target sales. Like I said, these are not the best prices I've seen. Not horrible, but not making me pull my CC out right away.
