Well... and like I said above... apparently there's a part of the ending that only happened in the original broadcast... and afterwards the censors thought it was too extreme... so they changed it for all subsequent airings and also all home video releases up until now.

I really hope they are able to restore that "part" of the ending...

Or maybe it's lost forever... who know?

Agreed- saw it at BFI Southbank in London a few years ago and it immediately became a favourite; I've got a copy on underwhelming DVD and it could definitely do with some TLC from the right label assuming the rights are available.

I'm out of the loop so I probably missed something. I just ordered Walking the Edge from the VS website, where it's on sale as part of the going OOP sale. They sent me the film sealed, as well as an additional disc of the BD in a white paper envelope. Was there a replacement program for that film at some point or did they just send me two copies?

The uncorrected disc was missing subtitles, and dropped a single frame iirc.

Apparently Primetime Panic Vol. 2 is up for pre-order at OrbitDVD!

https://www.orbitdvd.com/products/pr...imited-edition

I guess this one is not gonna be an OCN/Vinegar Syndrome website release...

Maybe Breathless was the last of the VS releases...

Maybe not...

Very nice. Are these both with Studio Canal? Glad FCE is willing to go after some international films, especially French ones, as there are a lot of films that fit their style.

If FCE ever goes after Japanese films, Yokohama BJ Blues would be a perfect fit.

Very nice indeed. Totally unexpected. Haven't heard of either film before, and you can't accuse FCE of not being varied with the choice of films for their releases. Love the front cover artwork.

Need to check where exactly Primetime Panic: Volume Two and Fatal Femmes will be available from (do Orbit DVD ship internationally?).

I also think Neige (1981) is Studio Canal? Does FCE have a deal with them? If so, man, I hope we can get some Alain Delon or Jean Paul Belmondo crime films. I was surprised Kino didn't release La Scoumoune (1972) which is a good one.

Both films do appear on SC's website, so I would imagine they are licensed from them

https://www.studiocanal.com/title/neige-1981/

The other can't be linked to properly due to the b word automatically being censored on this site, so you'll have to substitute if manually

It's not a film I expected a label to ever get round to, but Neige is a terrific film and I'm very pleased to see it get a release. It's not really obvious to me why it has been paired with La garce - a film I haven't seen and I haven't heard anything positive about - but I'll give that one a shot too.

Hopefully in future we'll get Berto's Havre and maybe the Claude Miller-directed short films she starred in, Juliet in Paris and Camille ou La comédie catastrophique

I started Walking the Edge this morning before work and its amazing! Im gonna continue it while eating my diner in not so long 😀

FCE is amazing and im clearly gonna get all your releases! I only need 13 more and before the end of the month, they wilk all be mine!!!

I was wondering if there was a release time announced for the primetime panic vol 2 or not since we heard of it before the announcement of Fatale Femmes. Also, will there be a preorder event on FCE official website? It could be nice haha

Thank you very much!!

Bryan

Not sure if anyone watches extras, but the Jeff Kanew 2-part chat on Natural Enemies is the most entertaining interview I've seen in a long time. Amazing stories. And the dude is 78?! Great extra.

Is Born To Win a really good film? Does it showcase NYC in all its decayed 70s glory? Is it worth spending £17.50 ($22) for the Fun City Blu-ray?

Also, is it likely that Radiance films will release it here in the UK?
