Indeed, but she didn't know that. I was mainly scoffing at her hesitation.

If they would have just killed him right from the get go, they would have avoided all that. But it was a necessary blip to continue the story in the best direction.

If all it takes is threatening to kill a teammate/friend/lover to get an Infinity Stone turned over to Thanos...

I was also bothered by Strange giving up the Time Stone and the timing of Thanos getting it just before the final battle...that took away all sense of tension as it was obvious Thanos would reverse time to ensure the last Stones existence and that he'd get his hand on it. The whole battle then felt like a meaningless exercise.
Yeah I had some minor issues with Peter Quill's behavior in the final third act as well. He broke a promise on his mother and his word to Gamora, and caused the whole final death toll in a big way.

Yeah I was surprised as well. I honestly did not think he was even going to get all the stones in this film.

All Thanos had to do, and what he did do, was use the time stone to turn back time to reassemble the stone.

Doesn't matter what they did so long as he had the time stone, it didn't matter.

Question

Two plot questions:

Why was Bruce trying to defend/explain Vision's body make up to Shuri? He had nothing to do with creating Vision's body. Only helping with transferring Jarvis into the body. Seems like it was just a reason to show Shuri's intelligence. Bruce should've answered "I, uh... Vision's body was actually Ultron's goal body a few years ago. I only had a hand in helping put a friendlier A.I. in the body in hopes to defeat Ultron. Kinda worked out... >.>"

Why was it skimmed over - as in not mentioned - that Thanos gave the Mind Stone away to Loki before the invasion? I know it happened. But stating it would've made Thanos that much more calculating.

Infinity War is like cheese.

It has holes in it, but it is still good to have a taste.

Well he didn't slaughter the main characters or supporting ones. Just gave them the smack down. I truly believed that a lot of violence was held back because of Disney. They know 7 year olds are coming to see it and parents would have been pissed to see their favorite characters be brutally beaten to death with blood coming out of their mouths and blood flying everywhere. Thanos could have easily have done it to any of the characters.........yet these are the same parents who bring their kids to see Logan or Alien Covenant

1. I don't think it really matters.

2. Because that was explained in The Avengers. It was a known fact that Thanos gave Loki the Mind Stone in exchange for Loki to rule earth. Loki obviously failed at that and Thanos lost out on both the Mind and Space stone. So Loki was at the top of Thanos' Shit List for doing that.

It was just right before that, that I glanced at my watch and realized "f*ck - this isn't going to end today."

What are you fighting for lol. If Thanos gets that, Y'all are both dead anyways. Which now you are indeed. IF they would have just killed the fake dude in the room earlier, no more infinity gauntlet. But, the movies needs to take some liberties to get to the end game and it was a small complaint.
Losing Vision was extremely hard for her because she's had nothing but loss in her life. She lost her parents, her brother and now her boyfriend. Everyone she's ever loved has died on her. I get what you're saying though.

How did he break his promise on his mother to Gamora? He pulled the trigger....thus bubbles. Thanos used the gauntlet so that Quill couldn't kill her.

Also, I doubt his getting pissed and wailing on Thanos ( which was understandable given his love was just murdered, kind of like Tony's actions at the end of Civil War with his parent's deaths ) caused the events that unfolded after Thanos was unleashed from that particular captivity...simply because...Doctor Strange said there was only one outcome to win.

IIRC given the people in the room, the only person who could've explained Vision better than Banner was Vision himself.

For sure, I am saying that this was not in Wanda's reasoning for hesitating to kill Vision. She was hesitating as she loved him, but he is not a real person so I found it a bit amusing is all.

I'd have preferred if he'd gotten the last stone or two in the next movie, or perhaps that they'd ended right after he obtained the last stone so that we didn't have to end on the note of all those characters/lives being gone when we know its going to get reversed, instead ending on a note of shock that he has all the stones and wondering how they'll possibly stop him.
