So I pulled the trigger and got a AA PSW-15 down firing subwoofer. I'm going to use it with my current Def Tech PF15TL+ and see how it goes. If the AA ends up being as good or better I may just get another matching one but we'll see how everything goes.
Got it on eBay Best Offer deal, seemed to be a pretty good price for 15" sub. Does anyone else have any experience with the down firing PSW or RW series? |

My system is a Frankenstein system that's been put together and upgraded over the years. I have two JVC tower speakers up front that I've had before 5.1 was even an option for home stereo systems. and I cant think what the center and rear are right now, but they are next on the upgrade list.

I hate to keep harping on this but I want people to know about The Deep Discount (think people have a right to know). I have a defective subwoofer. Thanks to Big Daddy he's helping me out with a replacement driver (bless his big heart). I was late in turning in my "warranty card" so now I receive a email from the DD that it's now too late and my subwoofer is not covered by the 3 year warranty. Did anyone know that if you don't turn in your warranty information that you don't have a warranty? I'll admit that I'm not the best at getting my warranty info turned in the day I get it....I mean I may wait a week or more but I always get it turned in and it has never been an issue with any other piece of equipment I own. I went to the Acoustic Audio website and turned in my warranty and replied via email that I did so and here is the response I received from The Deep Discount. It almost seems they are enjoying the fact that I have a defective sub and won't take care of it. I am extremely disappointed in The Deep Discounts customer service and how they enjoy not helping people. If customer service is important to you then I highly suggest you look elsewhere for your equipment. They do not answer the phone, and they email you back very slowly! It could be out of the 30 day satisfaction guarantee by the time you get your issue even close to resolved. Buyer beware.

Thanks duneaholic, for the heads up. I'll be sure to register the warranty immediately. It's too bad to hear that they aren't very helpful. It's probably due to the fact the subs are cheap, hence the benefits of going with one of the bigger named speaker company.
