Custom Cover Art Thread

There really isn't a conspiracy. The threads were merged, as we do with any other thread of a common topic. We don't need 500 Dark Knight threads, we don't need 500 best audio quality threads, we don't need 500 favorite Blu-ray threads, etc. And we don't notify every member every time there is a merge.

As far as deleted posts, he deleted them himself and they can be restored by him at any time if he so chooses.

Really cool. A bit scattered looking (but that's the graphic's fault). Definitely a unique graphic to use for a cover and quite a challenge. Can't wait to see the finished work as this is very promising

Having just recently found the site and registered, I'm already sad to see bpmford go (all the custom covers is why I registered to begin with). He had some great covers. I don't see the harm in him having his own thread (or any of the other major contributors--it makes it easier to find stuff), but I guess things look differently from "down here".

Hey everybody,

I was wondering if someone might have or might be able to make a custom/conversion for Star Trek Season 3? I'm Canadian and I'm stuck with the lousy bi-lingual version. I've managed to find decent scans for season 1 and 2, but no luck so far for 3. In addition I'm sure there's some people out there who'd probably like a wider version of the Season 3 cover to match the first two seasons.

If anyone might be able to help it would be great appreciated!

Okay got the bug fixed, I think I was over the character limit or something similar. Usually it comes back to the edit page and says that but it was just coming up with a database error page over and over again.

Exactly what Jason said, no one deleted his thread or threads, as a matter of fact the only deleted posts that member has are the ones he did himself. Everytime a change is made is logged and can be reviewed if there an issue, no moderator deleted any of that members threads or posts, Merged, yes. He then deleted then after the merge because he didnt agree with it.

I personally sent the member a pm after the thread merge and he did not reply to me except in this thread where he posted he was leaving. That is a personal choice he made and he clouded alot of facts to make it sound like someone was against him, We are not, It was simple forum cleanup.

Now I hope we can get this thread back on track and stop discussing this as it has nothing to do with this thread topic

As a long time lurker to this forum & avid reader of this thread, i'm saddened to see one of the best artists leave. It worries me that others may choose a similar path.

I'm also a member of Fuzion. Due to the fact that i'm worse than useless on a PC, i opted to be a paying member. It seems only fair that an artist should be thanked, respected & rewarded for their skills & effort. It still amazes me that these people are generous enough to share hard work in the first place.

all we need to do to get the thread added is email the mod one by one. If enough people email him they will leave it. We did it in the PS3 thread when they moved the trophy page off the sticky page. And now it's back.

The site is only as good as it's users. If we want it generally they will allow it to happen.

If I don't get the Bourne trilogy for Xmas then I will be picking it up from Amazon UK shortly after. I did a quick search since I don't have it listed in the original post's list and only came up with requests. Have any of our esteemed replacement cover creators made something for the Bourne trilogy? I am asking because I know I am going to want to get rid of the UK rating system on the front/back/spine of the cover as soon as I get the discs in hand.

I haven't seen any covers on this forum, but the best ones I've found by an artist called Morpheo on the AVS forums. The only thing is that if you want to keep them in the box you have to edit the spine.
