I couldn't go this past weekend, so I went today for my fifth viewing.

I really enjoyed Francis Lawrence's use of long takes. I counted some of them. The shot where Katniss first goes back to District 12 is about 45-47 seconds long!

I still need to see this for a third time yet.

Yes! The long pull out shot that reveals the destruction of 12 and all the remains that shakes her to her core and falls to the ground emotionally destroyed..

Nothing gets more emotional for me than

[Show spoiler]Cinna getting beaten to death right in front of Katniss, setting her off for vengeance

in Catching Fire, but this film certainly has plenty of moments that grabs your attention and your heart, making you fully invested in the future of these characters.

Can't wait to revisit it soon and get myself even more amped for Part 2 in 2015.

I've just returned back from Regal, and seeing Mockingjay Part 1 again did not in any way change my opinions on the film. It is without question the best overall Hunger Games film to date, and sorry haters, but Lawrence crushes it. The whole "If we burn....." scene proves that this girl has continued to improve with each project of hers. The

at the end, yeah, I admit could've been a tad better, but it doesn't take me out of the film. Francis Lawrence once again did a tremendous job directing, and I cannot wait to see what becomes of Part 2.

I can't agree more with you here. Yes the we burn scene is a amazing one. Along with the hanging tree and

[Show spoiler]those last ending scenes.

She will be a top player actress to deal with for many years to come. And rack up plenty more awards than she already had at her young age of only 24. But yes! The wait for part will just about kill me!

Lawrence really has impressed me with his work in this franchise. I wasn't that familiar with his work, really. Constantine was dreadful, but not his fault. You need some source material to work with, and that was an awful screenplay. And I had never seen all of either I Am Legend or Water For Elephants.

What I had seen of Water impressed me, though. But I'm admittedly a pretty big Reese Witherspoon fanboy.

So, his work in THG films was really my first fair assessment of his work, and I have to say I've been very impressed. I think Part 2 is going to be just NUTS!

I liked both Constantine and I Am Legend. So I was excited when he was announced as the director taking over for Catching Fire and that he direct Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2. But yes it certainly will be insane at the nd of part 2 I'd imagine!

Not to mention she's the face of one Franchise and the biggest action heroine of all time with Katniss. Not to mention she's Mystique in the wildly popular X-Men series and there was talks of possibly giving her own spin off series. Along with her being mentioned for the All girls Ghostbuster film. That be another Franchise to add to her mantle. Lastly her amazing work she continues to do with David O' Russell. And likely for sure will get nominated for Joy at the 2016 Oscars. Haven't seen Constantine due to the less than favorable reviews, but I did enjoy I Am Legend a lot. Had no idea Francis Lawrence directed it. For a film that was shot mostly in the dark, it was a great film to look at.

Seems I'm one of the few who liked Constantine and would have loved to see a sequel. But we never got one. Can't believe that will be 10 years old next Feb when I saw it in theaters. I saw I am Legend in theaters also. It was around the Christmas season and the crowds were pushy and rush. lol. so a normal day for some.
