I'm gonna be that guy and say I can watch people get slaughter 24/7, but if the movie is just about the island blowing up and an hour plus of watching fake dinosaurs meet their end. I'm not about it lol

Yeah the premise seems silly to me. Like an alternate lost world lol

not a big fan of lost. World is the only sequel I like so far.

I like lost, but if this is going to be an island exploding and Dinos jumping to their doom. I'll ignore it for the time being lol.

I think people see this trailer as the entire film when I think this is only stuff from the first half of the film and theres something more sinister afoot.

I'll reserve judgement till its out, but based on that trailer. I'd neither be first to see it in theaters like JW1, or buy it on UHD lol, that's just me.

It's sad that they eschewed film for digital on this movie but thankfully, film is still around and some prominent as well as smaller indie movies are being shot on film. People are more conscious of film vs digital now. Many get excited when something is shot on film.

I guess this is it for JP and film. Spielberg had been able to have JW shoot on film, But I guess with JW2, the future of JP series will be digital-only and also in that annoyingly overused 2.40:1 letterbox ratio. I guess the next director they hire will also insist on digital and 2.40:1, because that is the standard nowadays.

With film stock, 1.85:1 and 2.00:1 ratios, JP stood apart from the rest of the blockbusters in terms of look. That difference doesn't exist anymore.

But, I am still very excited about the movie. Bring it on!

How DARE they kill off all those dinosaurs at the end of the trailer. Kill all the humans you want but the dinosaurs!? Oh, hell no.

That's the plot twist that Bayona is referring to with The Impossible meets The Orphanage, ghostly dinosaurs

I think the twist will be the enterprise will come in and stop the volcano from erupting thus being a Segway into the new R rated trek!

The trailer re-edit was amazing. It's missing a key moment when Rexy shows up but other than that its excellent. That goes to show movie scores make everything standout.

I haven't seen the trailer yet and may not but I'm excited for the movie. There hasn't been a JP/JW movie I haven't liked to some degree and this one won't be any different. I just hope that whatever happens at least the mosasaur makes it out into the open ocean.

That's the point. They are giving to much away in trailers today. This trailer re-edit shows that you can create more suspense and mystery by being more reserved and not giving away every surprise the film has to offer.

How was INGEN this around in World 1 when they’ve had 2 major incidents in the last Trilogy? How can the federal government do anything when these animals is property of INGEN unless they are finally out of business in this up coming sequel? But still these animals clearly are to dangerous to be on any land that have humans on them and there’s no way the animals on the ground can get off the island. So why won’t the government leave them to die? And how was people allowed back on the island when in Lost World people was not allowed on them?

This new fan theory goes along saying the events that occurred in Jurassic World was an inside job involving Dr. Wu and Hoskins who helped with the I-Rex escaping.
