It was shown on Pluto a few months back in awful 4x3 format. There is no HD transfer available it appears.

For what it's worth a HD transfer has been playing in Canada on Hollywood Suite - I watched it a month back and it was the first time I'd seen CITIZEN'S BAND in a widescreen presentation. I know it still has some broadcast dates today and tomorrow; after that it may remain On Demand but Hollywood Suite usually brings thing back after a bit of downtown.

BTW my first post, so hi everyone - hopefully I didn't mess things up too bad!

If Fun City could get hold of Citizen's Band it would be a real coup.

Citizens Band is available in HD digitally. Here's a few screenshots from it:

I would think Sheila Levine is Dead & Living in New York is also a cert.

There's a 2k scan now doing the rounds as Imprint are releasing it as part of their Sydney J Furie box set. I've resisted in as far as I don't fancy the other titles much and Imprint's PQ is, to say the least, questionable at times.

SHEILA LEVINE received a new scan by Paramount a couple of years or so ago, and that transfer aired once on TCM. If that is the film element which Imprint has been provided with, their Blu-ray should look pretty good.

What was the pre-order price for Primetime 2? It’s now $45, I feel like it was about $10 cheaper a couple weeks ago… am I dreaming?

Just seems to me that $50 shipped is steep for this, given it’s not in a box like volume 1 was.

Got my copy of Primetime Panic 2 in today from WowHD. Our Canadian retailers are currently not carrying this title for some reason.

I look forward to checking this one out! Maybe sometime this week

Will have to pre-order the next releases in the near future, T.R. Baskin and Fatal Femmes - probably again from WowHD...

I've never ordered from WowHD, are they fairly quick? And does Primetime Panic 2 come with the slipcase?

Slips for Fun City are being done differently now that they are will MVD. 1st edition has slip and is available everywhere, once that sells out they release standard version, with a different upc.

Yes, fairly quick, they shipped my pre-order out the Friday before release date, and I got it without any import fee dings via Canada Post. They used UPS Mail Innovations as the courier to the border then handed it over to CP.

And as BudTheChud mentions, yes, the slipcover was included. I suspect this title won't sell as quick as Party Girl, and therefore stock should be a little more plentiful of the first pressing.

The only downside to WowHD is their shipping envelopes they use for single and double unit titles are a little to be desired. They consist of two sheets of corrugated cardboard welded shut with industrial strength glue. The boxes they use for bigger orders and steelbooks are better. They're part of the same group, DirectToU, so DeepDiscount, BlowItOuttaHere and the like probably all have the same sort of packaging and shipping experience.

I also recommend only using PayPal. They charge in CAD, and there are no shipping fees.
