I pre-ordered this game with the 20% of $75 or more at toysrus.com.

I have been waiting a long time for this game, as I have been very interested in it since it was initially shown off.

I am not interested in any of the pre-order bonuses, so I opted for money off.

I will get the OldSnake Sackboy then laugh giddily and wiggle my toes in the air.

I LOL-ed when Cnet has Dead space as a potential GOTY. Even if you dont think LBP will get GOTY, dead space seems like a silly choice considering not only the blockbusters out already, but also those to come.

I have read somewhere that it comes with 50 pre designed levels, and now the retail version will have most of the Beta designed levels.

While you will be playing those, people will be creating even more levels.

And while you will be playing those, there will be even -MORE- levels ..

I quit out of Buzz to download the new firmware, and noticed someone on my friends list playing LBP. I wish I found a place selling copies early. Not sure how he got it, but I know he doesn't work in retail.

Good thing that this is the first time I've even heard of Metacritic. I primarily look at review websites such as Gamespot and IGN for accurate reviews.

Metacritic uses Gamespot, IGN, and dozens of other reviewers and rolls them into one master score.

Metacritic is a fantastic tool honestly. It doesn't work well for cross-platform game ranking, but within a console is something you should seriously considering looking into.

It's just dumb that some xbots are so worried about the success of LBP that they feel the need to trash the part that most people don't look at anyway.

Now that does sound like a very interesting tool and can be quite useful. I'll definately been looking at that for some reviews now.

I have a feeling that considering what you've said with the # of user reviews without the game even being released that they'll probably wipe it clean once the game actually comes out with a cover-up stating that a server crashed or something (hopefully).

Also the user reviews probably won't affect the mainstream user that primarily looks at what 'professional' critics say compared to 'user' critics. In my experience its usually people that are more familiar with how to research a product before purchasing it that looks more closely at user reviews compared to the professional. In this case they'd have done enough research to see that the user reviews are full of crap.
